This invention relates to a seal system for sealing between an elongate element such as a cable and a surface or substrate around an aperture in the surface through which the elongate element passes. The seal system comprises a seal body to surround the aperture and seal against the surface or substrate around the aperture. The seal body comprises at least one passage for penetration of the elongate element through the seal body at a side of the seal body. The at least one passage providing for a seal to the elongate element. Also provided is a fixing component adapted to be attached over at least part of the seal body and/or through the seal body to seal with the surface or substrate.

Seal system

A roofing, cladding or siding product which is light weight, easy to install, durable, and resistant to environmental wear includes a module that can be used to form a weatherproof covering over top of a building surface. The module can also form a weatherproof covering, and be used as part of a thermal energy recovery or removal system. The module can also form part of a thermal energy recovery system that includes an array of solar cells to generate electrical energy.

Roofing, cladding or siding product, its manufacture and its use as part of a solar energy recovery system

The present invention relates to a plumbing assembly for connecting a discharge connection of a fixture to a waste outlet, the assembly comprising a substantially rigid conduit trap portion (whether the trap portion forms a part of an S, P, U or J shaped conduit bend). The rigid conduit trap portion including an inlet and an outlet, and a substantially conformable or flexible conduit portion connectable to the rigid conduit trap portion at either of i) the rigid conduit trap inlet, or ii) the rigid conduit trap outlet. The rigid conduit trap portion and conformable or flexible conduit portion when assembled providing for a complete trap assembly.

Plumbing assembly

A sealing gland for sealing between an elongate member and a surface through which the member extends, the gland comprising a sealing body having an inner membrane for sealing about the elongate member and an outer peripheral region for sealing against the surface. The inner membrane has one or more cut guides on an underside of the membrane arranged to locate adjacent the surface in use. Each cut guide represents a known elongate member option and facilitates the formation of an aperture through the membrane for suitably receiving the associated elongate member option there through in use. A compression ring is also provided to couple the surface over the sealing body to compress the sealing body in use and form an effective seal.

Sealing gland

A method of forming a material includes presenting a formable material to a space between opposing forming surfaces of opposed forming tools from whence said material is carried as said opposing forming surfaces advance in a machine direction. The method includes pressurising, as said opposing forming surfaces advance, said material between said opposing forming surfaces in a reduced space between said opposing forming surfaces defining at least in part a pressure forming zone, said reduced space between said opposing forming surfaces being maintained constant until a form of at least one of said opposing forming surfaces is profiled into said material and is retainable thereon. The method also includes releasing the profiled material from between the said opposing forming surfaces, as the space of the pressure forming zone increases between said opposing forming surfaces as the opposing forming surfaces advance.

Forming apparatus

A clip, for securing a portion of a long thin item such as a cable or pipe, includes a cradle portion for receiving a surface of an item to be secured, a fixing portion with at least one formation extending to be securable to a support, and a flexible member extending from a location at or adjacent an end of the cradle portion. The flexible portion has a free end and formations at or near the free end to engage with other formations fixed in relation to the cradle portion. In use, the cradle portion and the flexible member define an enclosing loop, such that the flexible member may hold an item against the cradle.

Multi-fit clip

This invention relates to an encasement (or utility housing) for a plumbing configuration. The encasement comprises a formed enclosure, the enclosure being mountable to a wall or a part of a wall or a support structure. The formed enclosure is a first housing portion, with the first housing portion providing for a cavity space. A second housing portion is receivable by, or co-locatable with, the first housing portion, and the second housing portion is receivable or co-locatable within the cavity space of the first housing portion. At least a part of the second housing portion comprises a plumbing configuration configured to receive, or be in fluid communication with, a flow of fluid and to channel the received flow of fluid to an outlet from the plumbing configuration.

Encasement

A clip for securing a portion of a long thin item such as a cable or pipe comprises of a cradle portion for receiving a surface of an item to be secured, a fixing portion with at least one formation extending to be securable to a support, and a flexible member extending from a location at or adjacent an end of the cradle portion. The flexible portion has a free end and formations at or near the free end to engage with other formations fixed in relation to the cradle portion. In use, the cradle portion and the flexible member define an enclosing loop, such that the flexible member may hold an item against the cradle.

A sealing member for sealing over an aperture in a surface. The member comprises a flange formed from a resilient material for sealing against the surface around the aperture in the surface. A strengthening member supports the flange. A retaining portion formed from the resilient material is provided on an outside surface of the strengthening member to secure the strengthening member to the flange. The retaining portion is integrally formed with the flange via a through hole in the strengthening member.

A sealing gland is provided for forming a seal between a plurality of elongate members and a surface having an aperture, or a pipe, through which the elongate members extend. The sealing gland includes a main sealing portion for sealing to the surface or the pipe. Skirts extend from a base of the sealing gland, where each skirt includes a lumen extending from the base to a distant end of the skirt for receiving one of the elongate members. Each skirt provides a flexible seal for sealing around a periphery of the elongate member, and adjacent skirts are adjoined along a portion of the length of the skirts.

This disclosure provides a roofing, cladding or siding product which is light weight, easy to install, durable and resistant to environmental wear. One embodiment relates to a module that can be used to form a weatherproof covering over top of a building surface. Another embodiment is a module which can, in additional to forming a weatherproof covering, be used as part of a thermal energy recovery or removal system. Yet another embodiment is a module which can, in addition to forming a weatherproof covering, and optionally in addition to being useful as part of a thermal energy recovery system, bears an array of solar cells to generate electrical energy. Assemblies, systems, uses, and methods of manufacture are also described.
