An aerialift warning system and method for use on aerialift equipment to warn the aerialift operator to fasten his/her safety lanyard and to warn persons within the zone of danger below the aerialift boom/basket of the impending danger posed by the descending boom/basket. The system includes a warning module and a speaker. The warning module includes a driver circuit for receiving a boom movement input signal and for asserting an up motion or down motion signal, and a processing circuit for receiving the up motion and down motion signal. The processing circuit contains an execution program to assert one or more warning messages contained in an audio warning circuit. The asserted one or more messages from the audio warning circuit are sent to a speaker.

Aerialift warning system and method

A computer system especially for solution of real time inference problems is disclosed. The system includes a systolic cellular processor which provides predictable and responsive real time operation and fine grain programmability. The system comprises a plurality of separate processor cells each having its own local memory, the cells running simultaneously and operative to execute their respective program instructions. A global memory is coupled via a global bus to the processor cells and provides data to the cells and stores data from the cells. The bus provides effectively simultaneous access of all cells to the global memory. A further feature of the system is a novel parallel programming language using English syntax and which provides synchronous and predictable binding of code to each cell. A graphic work station is provided as a user interface to provide visual access to each cell or to cell groups for ease of control. The system can also function to emulate large scale integrated circuit processors by reason of the fine grain programmed operation of the system.

An analyzer for measuring the ionic values of electrolytes in a sample solution having a fluid flow-through air segment detector (300) and a plurality of fluid flow-through ion selective electrodes (97,98) for measuring the ionic values of electrolytes and a fluid flow-through reference membrane assembly (96) connected in series. There is also a reference electrode (95). There is a reservoir (77) containing an internal filling solution. The reference membrane assembly and the reference electrode are located in the reservoir and exposed to the internal filling solution. A tubular fluid sampling probe (70) having a sampling port (63) aspirates air, sample and liquid reagents through the system. The probe cooperates with a slide valve (64) having a passageway (53) through which the probe reciprocates. The passageway contains a plurality of chamber ports (46, 47, 48) each of which is sealed from the other ports by the tube sampling probe when its sampling port is positioned within a chamber port, A reagent pouch having a plurality of chambers communicating with a separate chamber port in the slide valve (20, 21) contains liquid reagents and a wash solution. One chamber in the reagent pouch receives waste and is in fluid communication with the flow-through reference membrane assembly. Means (50) are employed for pumping an electrolyte sample in series through the probe, the air segment detector, the ion selective electrodes, the reference membrane, and then to the waste disposal chamber. There are electronic means for measuring the voltage signal generated between the selective electrode and the reference electrodes for calculating the ionic value of the electrolyte being measured.

Electrolyte analyzer

A reagent and wash fluid supply system for a flow through analyzing system which includes a tubular fluid sampling probe (70), having a sampling port (63) which aspirates air, sample and liquid reagents through the analyzing system which cooperates with a slide valve (64) having a passageway (53) through which the probe reciprocates. The passageway contains a plurality of chamber ports (46, 47, 48) each of which is sealed from the other ports by the tube sampling probe when its sampling port is positioned within a chamber port.
