Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating a SL communication for moderesource allocation are disclosed herein. An example method includes performing sensing on one or more SL resources to identify a first set of available resources. The example method further includes adjusting a first measurement threshold to a second measurement threshold based on a size of the first set of available resources being below an availability threshold. The example method further includes transmitting a sidelink message indicating a second set of available resources based on the second measurement threshold.

Receiver side sensing for sidelink inter-UE-coordination

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may determine, based at least in part on a channel sensing using a receive beam of the first UE, preferred resources or non-preferred resources of the first UE for a sidelink transmission by a second UE. Transmitting inter-user-equipment coordination information based at least in part on beamforming

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may identify multiple candidate sets of physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) transmissions that include hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback for sidelink communications received from one or more peer UEs. The UE may select, from one or more of the multiple candidate sets that satisfy a PSFCH transmit power constraint, at least one candidate set that has a highest value for a utility parameter among utility parameters associated with each of the one or more candidate sets that satisfy a PSFCH transmit power constraint. The UE may transmit, on a PSFCH, the plurality of PSFCH transmissions included in the at least one candidate set in a HARQ feedback occasion. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Concurrent physical sidelink feedback channel transmission

This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support multiple-transmission and reception point (multi-TRP) based positioning. In some aspects, a method includes transmitting, by a first user equipment (UE) including a first set of transmission and reception points (TRPs), a first request for a first sidelink (SL) positioning session. The first request indicates a multi-TRP positioning session is enabled. The method also includes receiving, from a second UE including a second set of TRPs, a first response based on the first request. The first response indicates a number of TRPs of the second set of TRPs available for the first SL positioning session. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Multi-transmission and reception point (multi-TRP) based positioning

In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may receive, from a second UE via a sidelink interface between the first UE and the second UE, an indication of a device discovery model associated with the second UE, wherein the device discovery model associated with the second UE is different than a device discovery model associated with the first UE. Techniques for sidelink discovery between user equipments associated with different discovery models

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Multiple transmitting user equipments (UEs) may send sidelink data transmissions. Receiving sidelink UEs may map sidelink feedback interlaces corresponding to detected sidelink data transmissions to sidelink feedback resources of a common sidelink feedback symbol according to an interlace mapping rule (e.g., defining which contiguous or non-contiguous frequency resources the UE is to use for transmitting sidelink feedback for the received sidelink data messages). The receiving UEs may map one or more replicas of initial interlaces of sidelink feedback resources to additional available resources of the sidelink feedback resources in the common feedback symbol.

Interlaced feedback for sidelink communications via unlicensed channels

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a mobile station may transmit, from the mobile station to an encoding device, acknowledgement or negative acknowledgement (ACK-NACK) feedback based at least in part on a transmission by the encoding device, wherein the ACK-NACK feedback is associated with a feedback bin, and wherein the feedback bin is associated with a location of the mobile station. The mobile station may receive, at the mobile station from the encoding device, a network coding transport block, wherein the network coding transport block is formed based at least in part on the transmission and the ACK-NACK feedback associated with the feedback bin. Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a first UE determines a set of resources for transmission of one or more sidelink PRSs. The first UE transmits a sidelink control message to reserve the set of resources for the transmission of the one or more sidelink PRSs. In another aspect, the second UE may receive the sidelink control message, and may (e.g., transmit and/or receive/measure) the one or more PRSs in accordance with the sidelink control message. In another aspect, a third UE may receive the sidelink control message, and may determine whether a transmission by the third UE on some or all of the set of resources is permitted based on the sidelink control message.

A communication device, which may be otherwise known as user equipment (UE) may support direct communications with other communications devices (e.g., direct communications between multiple UEs). In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network entity, an indication of a first sidelink grant associated with a first set of resources. The UE may perform an action based at least in part on the first set of resources at least partially overlapping in the time domain with the second set of resources. In one aspect, a method of wireless communication includes determining, by a user equipment (UE), one or more full-duplex symbols of a slot and one or more half-duplex symbols of the slot; determining, by the UE, to use a first type of interleaving for the one or more full-duplex symbols and a second type of interleaving for the one or more half-duplex symbols; frequency domain mapping, by the UE, virtual resources of the slot to physical resources of the slot based on the first type of interleaving and the second type of interleaving; and communicating, by the UE, based on the physical resources. Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may receive a sidelink message via a sidelink transmission resource of a shared sidelink resource pool that is shared between a communications according to a first radio access technology (RAT) and communications according to a second RAT. The UE may map sidelink transmission resource occasions of the shared resource pool to a physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) occasion and map subchannels of the sidelink transmission occasions to respective resources of the PSFCH occasion. The UE may transmit a sidelink feedback message corresponding to the sidelink message using a resource of the PSFCH occasion corresponding to a subchannel carrying sidelink control information of the sidelink message.

Feedback transmissions with adaptive and dynamic sidelink cochannel coexistence

Sidelink (SL) positioning of user equipments (UEs) is supported by providing with SL positioning reference signals (PRS) an indication of the identity of the SL positioning session and the SL PRS source identifier. A UE may transmit a payload-based indication or a sequence-based indication of the identity of the SL positioning session and the source identifier. The pay-load based indication is included in, e.g., a Layer 1 (L1) and/or Layer 2 (L2) control message associated with the SL PRS. The sequence-based indication may be generated using the indication of the identity of the SL positioning session and the source identifier to initialize or seed the generation of the PRS sequence, scramble the PRS sequence, or generate a cover code that is applied to the PRS sequence.

Identification of sidelink positioning reference signals

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A transmitter user equipment (UE), a receiver UE, or both of a sidelink communications link may detect a radio link failure (RLF) on the sidelink communications link. For example, the transmitter UE may perform a radio link monitoring procedure to identify the RLF. Additionally or alternatively, the receiver UE may detect if the RLF occurs based on using a timer or counter. Accordingly, the receiver UE may initiate the timer when no sidelink transmission is received and may declare RLF upon the timer expiring. The receiver UE may initiate the timer when a data transmission is not received, when a data transmission is supposed to be received and is not received, not decoding sidelink control information (SCI), not receiving the SCI, etc.
