Aspects presented herein improve congestion control mechanism for UEs with multiple TRPs, where at least one of the SL RSSI measurement, the CBR measurement, the CR evaluation and/or the congestion control mechanism for the UE is optimized. In one aspect, the apparatus evaluates a CR for each TRP of a plurality of TRPs at the UE. The apparatus determines whether the UE is allowed to transmit on one or more of the TRPs of the plurality of TRPs based at least on the evaluated CR for each TRP of the plurality of TRPs and on at least one CR limit. The apparatus transmits on at least one TRP of the one or more of the TRPs based on the determination whether to transmit on the one or more TRPs.

Congestion control for sidelink communication with multi-TRP

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a set of frequency domain resources allocated to the UE for communicating data over a wireless channel. The UE may receive an indication of a waveform type associated with the set of frequency domain resources. The waveform type may be based at least in part on a data type of the data, may be used for a defined amount of time, and may be one of a plurality of waveform types that are multiplexed together over different frequency domain resources within a total system bandwidth. The UE may communicate within the set of frequency domain resources according to the indicated waveform type and the data type.

Mixed waveform communications

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may monitor a set of sidelink resources for a first portion of one or more sensing windows in accordance with a monitoring pattern. The monitoring pattern may indicate a first portion of the one or more sensing windows or a second portion of the one or more sensing windows. The first UE may transmit control signaling indicating a result of monitoring the set of sidelink resources for the first portion. The first UE may transmit data to at least a second UE based at least in part on transmitting the control signaling. In some examples, the second UE, a third UE, or both may indicate a result of monitoring a third portion or a fourth portion of the one or more sensing windows.

Cooperative and coordinated sensing techniques for wireless communications systems

The present disclosure provides self-decodable redundancy versions for a systematic code. An apparatus for wireless communications includes at least one processor coupled with a memory and comprising encoder circuitry configured to encode a set of information bits using a systematic code to generate an encoded bit stream with information bits and parity bits, and bit ordering circuitry configured to re-order bits in the encoded bit stream to distribute the information bits and the parity bits. The apparatus includes a transmitter configured to transmit the re-ordered bits in accordance with a radio technology via one or more antenna elements situated proximate the receiver.

Communication techniques with self-decodable redundancy versions (RVs) using systematic codes

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques generally provide for spatially coupled multiple-in multiple-out (MIMO) signaling for a single codeword across multiple layers. A transmitting device may transmit, via multiple time-frequency resources using multiple spatial layers, a set of code blocks associated with a codeword. At a first time-frequency resource, each code block of a first subset of the set of code blocks may be mapped to a respective transmission layer, and at a second time-frequency resource, each code block of a second subset of the set of code blocks may be mapped to a respective transmission layer, where the second set of code blocks is staggered from the first set of code blocks. By staggering code blocks across multiple time-frequency resources, a receiving wireless device may cancel out interference of one or more previously decoded code blocks.

Techniques for spatially coupled multiple-input multiple-output signaling

Wireless communications systems and methods related to wireless communications in a system are provided. A wireless communication device may compute a plurality of log-likelihood ratios (LLRs) based on a received communication signal. At least a first LLR and a second LLR of the plurality of LLRs represent the same first bit in the communication signal. The wireless communication device may combine the first LLR and the second LLR to decode the first bit and transmit a report indicating channel information. The channel information may be based at least in part on the plurality of LLRs before the combining of the first and second LLRs.

Channel information based on uncombined log likelihood ratios (LLRS)

Aspects presented herein relate to methods and devices for wireless communication of an apparatus, e.g., a UE. In one aspect, the apparatus may detect at least one conflict in a set of reserved resources between two or more sidelink (SL) resource reservations, each of the two or more SL resource reservations being associated with each of two or more UEs. The apparatus may also configure at least one of an indication of the at least one conflict or at least one resource reservation forwarding message. The apparatus may also transmit, after detecting the at least one conflict in the set of reserved resources, one or more of at least one resource reservation forwarding message or an indication of the at least one conflict.

Collision indicators for sci forwarding information and sci forwarding triggering

Aspects relate to mechanisms for measuring the interference on the sidelink for use in calculating the channel quality indicator (CQI) in channel state information (CSI) reporting. Channel state information-interference measurement (CSI-IM) resources on which a sidelink device may measure the interference may be located outside of a bandwidth allocated for the transmission of a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) and/or inside of the allocated bandwidth. The sidelink device may measure respective interference values on one or more CSI-IM resources, identify one or more CQI(s) based on the measured interference value(s) and transmit one or more CSI reports including the one or more CQIs to another sidelink device.

Interference measurement for sidelink

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify a set of one or more sidelink resources, and the UE may identify wake-up signal occasions associated with the resources. The UE may monitor for wake-up signals during the wake-up signal occasions, and the UE may further monitor the associated set of one or more resources based on receiving a wake-up signal. In some examples, respective sets of one or more sidelink resources may be associated with a number of multiple-input multiple-output layers used for sidelink communications, or may indicate respective bandwidth parts used for monitoring sidelink transmissions.

Power saving techniques for sidelink communication

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a transmitter user equipment (UE) may identify beamforming information for transmitting a pre-reservation signal that indicates a set of non-preferred resources associated with a data transmission. The UE may transmit, to a receiver UE in accordance with the beamforming information, the pre-reservation signal that indicates the set of non-preferred resources associated with the data transmission. Numerous other aspects are described.

Sidelink resource reservation using non-preferred resource signaling

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a sidelink transmission that includes a transport block, and may transmit sidelink feedback, for each of a plurality of code block groups included in the transport block, in respective physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) resources. In some aspects, a UE may receive a sidelink transmission that spans a plurality of slots, and may transmitting, for the sidelink transmission, sidelink feedback in at least one of: first one or more PSFCH resources that occur during the sidelink transmission, or second one or more PSFCH resources that occur after the sidelink transmission. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Feedback for sidelink transmissions

A first device may communicate an SL NC TB with a second device. At least one of the first device and the second device may be a UE. The first device may transmit, to a network entity, a first message having a first location information that indicates a movement of the UE from a first zone to a second zone. The first message may have a first location information associated with the UE. The UE may be in SL communication with a first encoder in the first zone. The network entity may obtain, from the first device, the first message. The network entity may initialize an NC handover of the UE to a second encoder of the second zone in response to the first location information indicating a movement of the UE from the first zone to the second zone.

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a plurality of sidelink transmissions associated with a spatial division multiplexing (SDM) configuration. The UE may fail to decode at least one sidelink transmission of the plurality of sidelink transmissions. The UE may transmit feedback indicating the failure to decode the at least one sidelink transmission, wherein the feedback includes an indication of at least one layer of the SDM configuration associated with the at least one sidelink transmission. Sidelink feedback for multiple transmit-receive points

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for using physical resource blocks (PRBs) of a sidelink resource pool that, in some cases, might not belong to a sub-channel in sidelink or are assigned to a special sub-channel. When a user equipment (UE) is transmitting a sidelink communication, the sidelink communication often takes place in resource pools that include sub-channels in frequency domain and slots in a time domain. A first subset of PRBs of the resource pool may be assigned to one or more sub-channels in the frequency domain. The disclosed methods, devices, and systems provide for identifying PRBs not assigned to the first subset (e.g., remaining or unused PRBs or PRBs assigned to a special sub-channel). In some aspects of the present disclosure, the UE may use these PRBs for various purposes.

Techniques for using physical resource blocks (PRBS) in a sidelink resource pool

An effective approach for a user equipment (UE) to perform a sidelink communication with another UE in a discontinuous reception (DRX) mode is disclosed. For example, a UE may determine a direct frame number (DFN) timing, and configure a sidelink DRX mode using one or more sidelink DRX parameters based on the DFN timing. The UE may perform a sidelink communication with a second UE during an on-duration of a sidelink DRX cycle in the sidelink DRX mode according to the one or more sidelink DRX parameters.
