An airbag apparatus for a vehicle includes a passenger seat airbag disposed at a cockpit module of the vehicle and having a first cushion configured to deploy toward a passenger seated at a passenger seat of the vehicle; a support airbag disposed at a body of the vehicle on a lateral side of the passenger seat and having a second cushion configured to deploy toward the passenger seated at the passenger seat; and an airbag control unit configured to control individual deployment of the passenger seat airbag and the support airbag.

The present disclosure relates to a vehicle airbag device, which includes a main cushion and an auxiliary cushion deploying from the main cushion and may more effectively protect both a passenger-seat passenger in a normal seating state and a passenger-seat passenger in a relaxed seating state even in the event of an oblique offset collision by differentiating the deployment of the auxiliary cushion by releasing or maintaining the connection of a tether connected to the auxiliary cushion during deployment of an airbag cushion.

A roof mounted airbag is proposed. The roof mounted airbag includes: a fixed chamber having an upper portion fixed to a roof of a vehicle and configured to be expanded downward when gas is supplied into the fixed chamber; a first separated chamber connected to the fixed chamber, having an inside that communicates with an inside of the fixed chamber to be supplied with the gas from the fixed chamber, and configured to be expanded downward when the gas is supplied into the first separated chamber; and a second separated chamber connected to the fixed chamber while being spaced apart from the first separated chamber, having an inside that communicates with the inside of the fixed chamber to be supplied with the gas from the fixed chamber, and configured to be expanded downward when the gas is supplied into second separated chamber.

Roof mounted airbag

A roof mounted airbag is proposed. The roof mounted airbag includes: an airbag cushion having an upper portion fixed to a roof of a vehicle and configured to be expanded downward when gas is supplied therein; a vent hole formed on the airbag cushion, and configured to discharge the gas in the airbag cushion to the outside of the airbag cushion during opening of the vent hole; and a closing tether having a first end fixed to the roof of the vehicle, and a second end connected to the vent hole to close the vent hole when tension is applied thereto.

An airbag module to protect a display device of a vehicle is proposed. The airbag module includes: the display device vertically slidably mounted to a cockpit of the vehicle; and an airbag housing arranged at the rear of the display device, rotatably mounted to the cockpit on a shaft extended in a direction parallel to a transverse direction of the vehicle, and configured to be rotated in response to sliding of the display device.
