An antenna assembly, which includes one or more radiating element arrays and at least one dielectric isolator for the one or more radiating element arrays, wherein, the dielectric isolator is configured to tune the phase of a coupling signal between the radiating elements so as to at least partially eliminate coupling interference between the radiating elements. As a result, the radiation pattern of the antenna can be improved. The present disclosure also provides a base station antenna having the antenna assembly.

The present disclosure relates to a base station antenna; the base station antenna comprises: a radio; a feed board and a radiating element array mounted on the feed board, where the radiating element array comprises a plurality of radiating elements, and each radiating element extends forward from the feed board; a radome arranged in front of the radiating element array; and a plurality of radome supporting members mounted on the radio and extending forward from the radio to the radome for supporting the radome.

A thin metal sheet with a suitable electrical performance can be selected for the dipole arm, and a thick metal plate can be selected for a dipole leg so as to achieve mechanical strength.

Radiating elements, antenna assemblies, and base station antennas including the same. For example, a radiating element is provided that includes a feed stalk and a radiator mounted on the feed stalk. The feed stalk includes a dielectric substrate, a first metal pattern printed on a first major surface of the dielectric substrate, and a second metal pattern printed on a second major surface of the dielectric substrate that is opposite the first major surface. The first metal pattern includes a first feed transmission line and a first feed welding region electrically connected to the first feed transmission line. The second metal pattern includes a second feed welding region electrically connected to the first feed welding region.

Antennas comprise a reflector and first and second arrays of first radiating elements mounted on the reflector. The antenna further comprises a parasitic element including a metal ring, where the metal ring of the parasitic element is arranged between a first radiating element of the first array and a first radiating element of the second array. The antenna can improve the isolation between adjacent arrays, thereby improving the radiation patterns generated by the arrays.
