An electric circuit device includes: a first electric component; a first case that accommodates the first electric component and has a cooling channel for cooling the first electric component and a discharge port of the cooling channel; a second case that accommodates a second electric component and has a communication channel that communicates with a discharge port of the cooling channel; a first seal portion that is provided in a peripheral edge part of a discharge port of the cooling channel and seals the first case and the first electric component; a second seal portion that is provided outside the first seal portion with respect to a discharge port of the cooling channel and seals the first case and the first electric component; a through hole that is provided in the first case between the first seal portion and the second seal portion of and penetrates the first case from the first electric component side to the second case side; and a wall that is provided on one of the first case and the second case to surround a periphery of a discharge port of the cooling channel, and the through hole is provided outside the wall.

Electric circuit device

A driving unit includes a rotary electric machine which has a rotation axis extending in a horizontal direction, a rotary electric machine case, and an electric power conversion device. The electric power conversion device has an electric power conversion device case and is disposed on one side of the rotary electric machine in an orthogonal direction. The electric power conversion device case is fixed to the rotary electric machine case. At either the electric power conversion device case or the rotary electric machine case, a guide portion protruding in the orthogonal direction and extending in the rotation axis direction is formed above a connecting portion where the rotary electric machine and the electric power conversion device are electrically connected.

Driving unit

Since inductance due to wiring to a Y capacitor is large, it is necessary to arrange the Y capacitor near a bus bar, and there is no degree of freedom in arranging the Y capacitor. Directions of currents flowing through a positive electrode side wiringand a negative electrode side wiringin a multi-core cableare a directionfrom a bus bar positive electrode terminaltoward the Y capacitor positive electrode terminal, and a directionfrom a bus bar negative electrode terminaltoward the Y capacitor negative electrode terminal, respectively. On the other hand, a direction of a current flowing through a ground wiringis a directionfrom a Y capacitor ground terminaltoward a ground terminal. A magnetic flux generated by the currents flowing through the positive electrode side wiringand the negative electrode side wiringin the multi-core cableand a magnetic flux generated by the current flowing through the ground wiringin the multi-core cablecancel each other out, and the inductance can be kept small.

Filter device and power converter

The inductance of a noise filter circuit is reduced, and an output is increased, whereby positive and negative electrode power supply side conductors each include a first and second conductor portions having a side surface and a main surface having an area larger than an area of the side surface. The first conductor portions are arranged on one surface of a base portion with an insulating member interposed therebetween. The second conductor portions penetrate through a core member in a state in which the main surfaces face each other. A width of a portion of the first conductor portion which is in contact with the insulating member in a direction perpendicular to current flow direction is larger than a width of a portion of the second conductor portion which is disposed within the core member in the direction perpendicular to current flow direction.

Power conversion device

The metallic case of a power conversion apparatus includes a casing having a side wall, as well as an upper case and a lower case, a first area being formed between a cooling jacket provided at the inner periphery of the side wall and the lower case, the metal base plate dividing the first area between the cooling jacket and the upper case into a lower side second area and an upper side third area, first and second power modules being fastened to a top surface and a capacitor module being provided in the first area, driving circuits that drive inverter circuits of the power modules respectively being provided in the second area, and a control circuit that controls the driver circuits being provided in the third area.

Power conversion apparatus and electric vehicle

Cooling performance of a control circuit substrate used in a power converter is improved. A power converter of the present invention includes a power semiconductor module, a passage forming body forming a passage space, a driver circuit substrate, and a control circuit substrate, where the passage forming body forms a first opening for allowing to dispose the power semiconductor module in an opposing manner to the passage space, the driver circuit substrate is disposed at a position opposite to a surface of the passage forming body having the first opening formed thereon, the passage forming body forms a side surface part parallel to an alignment direction of the power semiconductor module and driver circuit substrate, and the control circuit substrate is disposed on the side surface via a protruding portion protruding from the side surface such that a projection of the control circuit substrate matches that of the passage space when a projection is made from a direction perpendicular to the side surface of the passage forming body.

In a power converter, cooling of the power converter is extremely important for improving a power conversion performance. Specifically, a DC smoothing capacitor module stored in a housing of the power converter is heat-sensitive, and in order to secure the performance, efficient cooling of the capacitor module is required. In addition, reducing the heat entering from the outside as much as possible is required. A conductor panel of the capacitor module and the housing are connected via a cooling panel, an AC connection bus bar and the housing is connected by the cooling panel to release heat from the capacitor module and the AC connection bus bar to the housing via the cooling panel.

In a power inverter, a coolant passage is fixed to a chassis to cool the chassis; the chassis is divided into a first region and a second region by providing the coolant passage in the chassis; a power module is provided in the first region as fixed to the coolant passage; a capacitor module is provided in the second region; and the DC terminal of the capacitor module is directly connected to the DC terminal of the power module.
