An auger snow-removing machine includes a forward rotation shaft and a reverse rotation shaft disposed on the same axis and aligned in a width direction of an auger housing within the auger housing, and a transmission disposed inside the auger housing such that the forward rotation shaft and the reverse rotation shaft are rotated concurrently in opposite directions by a driving force transmitted from the transmission. A case of the transmission is divided into a front case member and a rear case member at a position behind a reverse rotation drive shaft extending in the width direction of the auger housing. The front case member has a first gear unit assembled therein, and the rear case member has a second gear unit assembled therein. The first and second gear units are assembled together when the front and rear case members are assembled together.

Auger snow-removing machine

In an auger snow plow, right and left forward rotating augers and right and left backward rotating augers are disposed on a same axis and aligned in a width direction of an auger housing. A blower housing is disposed at a rear portion of the auger housing and also positioned at a widthwise center of the auger housing. A blower is disposed inside the blower housing. The right and left forward rotating augers are positioned at least in an entire range of a width of the blower housing. The right and left backward rotating augers are separately positioned on both sides of the right and left forward rotating augers and positioned only at a more outer side than the width of the blower housing in the width direction.

Auger snow blower

An auger snow-removing machine includes left and right forward rotation augers rotatable in a first direction during snow removal and left and right reverse rotation augers rotatable in a second direction opposite the first direction during the snow removal. The forward and reverse rotation augers are coaxially disposed in alignment in a width direction of an auger housing within the housing. Distal ends of the left forward rotation auger and the right reverse rotation auger have phases set to substantially simultaneously reach a lowermost location when the forward and reverse rotation augers rotate. Distal ends of the right forward rotation auger and the left reverse rotation auger have phases set to substantially simultaneously reach the lowermost location when the forward and reverse rotation augers rotate.

The snow remover has a cooling fan for directing cooling air to an engine, and an air cleaner. The air cleaner has an air intake for drawing in outside air. The cooling fan and the air intake of the air cleaner is housed within the engine cover. Cooling air is changed to warm air by the cooling of the engine body, and this warm air is guided towards the air intake of the air cleaner by a guide duct.

Snow remover

A transmission for a working machine including a drive transmission mechanism and a working transmission mechanism operated by swinging a shift lever is provided. The drive transmission mechanism has a key-sliding transmission mechanism axially mounted on a drive shaft. The key-sliding transmission mechanism causes a selected one of a plurality of gears rotatably mounted on the drive shaft and the drive shaft to rotate together to transmit power to drive wheels.

Transmission

A transmission for working machines having a drive transmission mechanism and a working transmission mechanism which are operated by swinging a shift lever is provided. The transmission has a drive shift member for connecting the shift lever to the drive transmission mechanism and a working shift member for connecting the shift lever to the working transmission mechanism. The shift lever has a first protrusion constantly engaging the drive shift member and a second protrusion arranged to engage with or disengage from the working shift member. When the first protrusion engages the drive shift member with the second protrusion not engaged with the working shift member, only the drive transmission mechanism operates. When the first protrusion engages the drive shift member with the second protrusion also engaging the working shift member, both the drive transmission mechanism and the working transmission mechanism operate.

Transmission for working machines

A walk-behind tiller has a body and a pair of wheels mounted on the body for undergoing rotation to cause the walk-behind tiller to undergo travelling along a ground surface. A tilling device is mounted on the body for undergoing a first movement operation in which the tilling device travels along the ground surface while the tilling device is disposed in spaced-apart relation to the ground surface, a second movement operation in which the tilling device tills the ground, and a third movement operation in which the tilling device is maintained generally horizontal to the ground surface. A handle has proximal portions, a pair of grip portions connected to the proximal portions and configured to be gripped by an operator to maintain the tilling device generally parallel to the ground surface during the third movement operation, a pair of rising portions connected to the grip portions and configured to be tilted by the operator during the second movement operation to cause the tilling device to till the ground, and a cross portion disposed between the rising portions and configured to be gripped and pressed by an operator to produce a force tending to move the tilling device about the rotational axis to maintain the tilling device in spaced-apart relation to the ground surface.

Walk-behind tiller

A walk-behind cultivator has a body, at least one pair of first tine assemblies mounted on the body to undergo rotation about a rotational axis in a first direction of rotation, and at least one pair of second tine assemblies mounted to undergo rotation about the rotational axis in a second direction of rotation different from the first direction of rotation. Each of the first tine assemblies has first tines connected together along end portions thereof. Each of the second tine assemblies has second tines connected together along end portions thereof. The second tine assemblies are arranged in the same phase with respect to each other around the rotational axis.
