A vehicle seat includes a seat cushion having an upward and downward movement mechanism configured to adjust a position of the seat cushion in a range between an upper most position and a lower most position in a seat vertical direction; and a shielding member configured to bend, and shielding a lower side of the seat cushion. The shielding member includes: an upper section disposed at a lower surface side of the seat cushion; a middle section disposed at a lower side of the upper section, provided with an inducing portion serving as a trigger for bending of the shielding member, and being configured to follow a movement, in the seat vertical direction, of the seat cushion by changing a bending angle at a bending start point portion that is bent by the inducing portion; and a lower section disposed at a lower side of the middle section.

Vehicle seat

In a cushion skin, left and right side surface skin front portions are fixed to a cushion frame of the seat cushion. The left and right side surface skin rear portions are respectively connected to the left and right side surface skin front portions, and each have a lower extending portion extending downward of the rear portion of the cushion pad. The connecting portion is disposed at the lower side of the rear portion of the cushion pad, and connects the distal end portions of each lower extending portion of the left and right side surface skin rear portions in the seat left-right direction. In each lower extending portion, a front side in the seat front-rear direction expands wider outward in the seat left-right direction than a rear side.

Cushion skin, seat cushion, and vehicle seat

A seat cushion frame configuring framework of a seat cushion for an occupant of a vehicle to sit on, and including left and right side frames, a cushion pan, and a reinforcement member. The left and right side frames are disposed at left and right side portions of the seat cushion. The cushion pan connects upper end portions of front portions of the left and right side frames together in a seat left-right direction. The reinforcement member includes the left and right reinforcement portions respective affixed to the seat left-right direction sides of the rear end portion of the cushion pan.

Seat cushion frame, vehicle seat frame, and vehicle seat

A seatback frame including left and right side frames, a lower frame, and a sacrum support section. The left and right side frames extend in a seat up-down direction inside left and right side portions of a seatback of a vehicle seat. The lower frame spans between lower end portions of the left and right side frames. The sacrum support section extends from a lower end portion of the lower frame toward a seat front side and supports a sacral region of a seated occupant from a seat rear side. A weakened portion that is weakened by a load from the seat front side is provided to the sacrum support section.

Seatback frame and vehicle seat

A vehicle seat frame includes a seat cushion frame, left and right links, a connection member, left and right slide rails, and left and right risers. The seat cushion frame includes left and right side frames. The left and right links each have a one end portion connected to respective front portions of the left and right side frames. The connection member connects the left and right links together in the seat left-right direction. The left and right slide rails are disposed below the left and right side frames and are attached to a floor section of the vehicle. The left and right risers are respectively attached to the left and right slide rails, are connected to respective other end portions of the left and right links, and are configured to be impacted by the connection member under load from the occupant during a head-on collision of the vehicle.

Vehicle seat and vehicle seat frame

In a vehicle seat frame, a connection member that connects left and right links together in a seat left-right direction is disposed below a rear portion of a cushion pan included in a seat cushion frame. A sloped surface sloped with a downward gradient toward a seat rear side is formed at a lower surface of the rear portion of the cushion pan. The sloped surface of the cushion pan slides in a seat rearward and diagonally downward direction relative to the connection member when the cushion pan deforms in a seat downward direction under load from the occupant during a head-on collision of the vehicle.
