To provide a connector module with stable EMC, a connector module includes: a receptacle on a substrate; and a plug electrically connected to the receptacle and electrically connectable to a communication cable, the plug including: a connector including an outer conductor electrically connectable to the communication cable; and a connection member connecting the connector to the receptacle and electrically connected to a ground line on the substrate, the outer conductor including: a cylindrical conductor body; and an annular flange extending from the conductor body to a radially outward side, the flange including a step on a facing side facing the connection member, the connection member being in contact with an upper level portion or a lower level portion.

A connector including a body, an adjacent pair of first terminals, a second terminal next to one of the first terminals, a third terminal next to the other first terminal, and a fourth terminal. The body holds the terminals at least partially and includes a first recess, a second recess, and a first separating portion therebetween. The first and third terminals each have a portion exposed through the first recess. The fourth terminal has a portion exposed through the second recess. The second terminal includes an exposed portion and an unexposed portion. The unexposed portion includes an area on one side in the first direction of a part in the second direction of the second terminal and is covered with the body. The exposed portion includes an area on the other side in the first direction of the part of the second terminal and is exposed through the first recess.

Connector and method of manufacturing same

A connector including one and the other first terminals, a second terminal, and a third terminal that are partially held in a body and spaced from each other along a first direction. The middle portion of each first terminal extends obliquely and has parallel edges. The second middle portion of the second terminal extends obliquely and has parallel edges being non-parallel to the edges of the first middle portions. The third terminal extends between the one first terminal and the second terminal and includes a third middle portion extending obliquely. Of the non-parallel edges of the third middle portion, one edge next to the second middle portion is substantially parallel to the edges of the second middle portion, and the other edge next to the first middle portion of the one first terminal is substantially parallel to the edges of the first middle portion of the one first terminal.

A connector which includes a metal piece, a contact assembly including a body which fixes a plurality of contacts, and a housing in which the contact assembly is inserted, in which the metal piece includes an arm portion which is extended in an arrangement direction of the contacts, an L-shaped portion, and of which an end surface is brought into contact only with a lateral wall of a concave portion of the housing, and a pressing portion which is formed by extending an end surface of the L-shaped portion, and which protrudes from a hole to be brought into contact only with a lateral wall of a recess of the body.

Connector with easily positionable parts

A terminal including a first fixable portion, a second fixable portion, a joining portion, and a first contacting portion. The first fixable portion has a dimension in a second direction, the dimension allowing the first fixable portion to be fixed to a first portion of an accommodation hole of a body. The second fixable portion is spaced from the first fixable portion in a first direction and has a dimension in the second direction allowing the second fixable portion to be fixed to a second portion of the accommodation hole. The joining portion joins the first and second fixable portions and has a dimension in the second direction that is smaller than the respective dimensions in the second direction of the first and second fixable portions. The first contacting portion extends from the first fixable portion toward the second fixable portion and is resiliently deformable in the second direction.
