An optical film including a first film substrate, and a light diffusion layer that is formed on the first film substrate, wherein the light diffusion layer contains a binder resin and light-diffusing particles, of the light-diffusing particles, 10% or more by number of the light-diffusing particles form an uneven structure on a surface of the light-diffusing layer by the 10% or more of the light-diffusing particles protruding more than a surrounding area not containing any light-diffusing particles, and of the light diffusing particles which cause the binder resin to be protruded and have a protruded portion, 90% or more by number of the protruded portion of light-diffusing particles is covered by the binder resin.

Optical film, optical barrier film, and backlight unit

The present invention provides a barrier film laminate including a first barrier film that includes a first substrate layer and a first barrier layer formed on the first substrate layer, a second barrier film that includes a second substrate layer and a second barrier layer formed on the substrate layer, and an adhesive layer. In the barrier film laminate, the first barrier film is bonded with the second barrier film so that the first barrier layer faces the second barrier layer with the adhesive layer interposed therebetween. In one embodiment of the barrier film laminate, the adhesive layer is formed of an adhesive containing an epoxy resin, a curing agent having an amino group, and either a silane coupling agent having an epoxy group or a silane coupling agent having an amino group and two hydrolyzable functional groups.
