A suction transfer device suction-holds a bag-like article with a suction component and moves the suction component suction-holding the article to thereby transfer the article. The suction component has a negative pressure chamber, one or more suction openings, and a first surface. The negative pressure chamber forms a negative pressure space inside when a negative pressure generator is driven. The suction openings communicate with the negative pressure chamber. The first surface is disposed around the suction openings and opposes an article subjected to suction. An area of the first surface is from 0.5 times to 2 times an area of a sucked surface, which opposes the first surface, of the article subjected to suction.

Suction transfer device

A form-fill-seal machine is capable of reducing poor sealing caused by a packaged article catching in lateral seal portions. The form-fill-seal machine is provided with an upper tube, a lower tube disposed therebelow, a former, a lateral sealing mechanism below the lower tube, and opening and closing sliding members. A packaged article is dropped through the interiors of the upper tube and the lower tube. The former winds a sheet of a film F around the circumference of the lower tube to convert same into a tubular film. The lateral sealing mechanism laterally seals the tubular film. The opening and closing sliding members, which are disposed between the upper tube and the lower tube, shut off an upwardly oriented flow of gas from the interior of the lower tube when in a closed state.

Form-fill-seal machine

An article transfer apparatus transfers articles downward into packaging. The article transfer apparatus includes a cylindrical chute that extends in a vertical direction. Slits are formed in a side wall surface of the chute. A clogging prevention member is rotatably supported adjacent to the chute. The clogging prevention member is configured and arranged to periodically enter the chute through the slit from an exterior of the chute while the clogging prevention member is rotating.

Article transfer apparatus

A rotary measuring device includes a measuring unit, a centrifugal force error calculation block, and a weight value calculation block. The measuring unit includes a measuring plate and a load cell. The load cell has a fixed end and a free end on which the measuring plate is disposed. The centrifugal force error calculation block calculates, on the basis of a first measured value outputted from the load cell in a state where the measuring unit is rotating, an angular displacement &#x3b8; with respect to a horizontal plane of the load cell in the vicinity of the free end. The weight value calculation block calculates a weight value of the object on the basis of the angular displacement value and a second measured value outputted from the load cell in a state where the measuring plate is receiving the load resulting from the object.

Rotary measuring device

A combination weighing device is configured and arranged to efficiently perform processes from combination weighing to discharging. The combination weighing device includes a control unit configured to control a container arrangement mechanism so as to tilt the orientation of a container storing weighed articles selected based on the results of weighing to discharge a portion or all of the articles in the container into its adjacent container.

A weighing device includes a supply unit, a weighing unit, a stock unit, a discharge unit, a transfer unit, and a revolving mechanism. The supply unit supplies a target object to a container revolving in the weighing unit. The weighing unit weighs the container while revolving the same. The stock unit stocks a plurality of containers while holding the plurality of containers three-dimensionally and revolving them. The discharge unit discharges the target object from the container while revolving the container.

Weighing device for weighing target object in container, combination weighing device including the same, and weighing method

A conveying device is disclosed that changes the order of containers during conveyance in order to speed up processes, such as a discharging process performed by a combination weighing device and a rank-order sorting process performed by a quality inspection device. With a combination weighing device, a plurality of containers placed on a rotary table are moved by rotatably driving the rotary table. While the containers are being moved, a container arrangement mechanism changes the sequential order of the containers that are specified by a control unit.
