A differential signal transmission cable has four stranded cores, each formed of an inner conductor covered with an insulation of fluorocarbon resin; an outer conductor being spirally wrapped around the four stranded cores in the opposite direction to a stranding direction of the cores; and a sheath formed around the outer conductor, where the diameter of the cable is 1.0 mm or less.

This invention provides a composite conductor having excellent strength, flexing resistance and corrosion resistance, a production method thereof and a cable employing the same composite conductor. Composite conductor, production method thereof and cable using the same

Support members are provided on the terminal portions of a sensor main body. In this state, a seal portion is formed by molding, and the seal portion seals the terminal portions of the sensor main body. During molding, external pressure acts on a housing. However, since four electrode wires pulled out from the housing are supported by insulating support members, the four electrode wires do not contact one another due to the pressure applied during molding, and thus do not short-circuit.

An optical transmission member comprising a core and a clad provided on the core is provided, wherein the core consists of silicon rubber and the clad consists of tetrafluoroethylene/hexafluoropropylene/fluorovinylidene copolymer cross-linked by electron-beam, whereby an optical transmission member having improved transmission characteristics, heat resistance, flexibility and strength against buckling is provided.

An illumination device comprises a light source like a halogen lamp, a light guide, a round rod-shaped transparent radiation member having a proximal end and a distal end, and a transparent radiation plate. The light guide is a plastic optical fiber comprising a single core of silicon rubber and a cladding layer of tetrafluoroethylene/hexafluoropropylene copolymer. The radiation member is a transparent circular cylinder made of acrylic resin, and has a predetermined pattern of light scattering regions on its surface oppose the directions where the light is radiated. The radiation plate is placed such a position that one side plane of the radiation plate oppose to he radiation member, and also has a predetermined pattern of light scattering regions on the back. The light scattering regions are provided along said radiation member in such a way that a ratio of an tea of one region to that of adjacent region becomes larger as the one region becomes distant from the proximal and of the radiation member.
