A semiconductor device having high reliability is obtained. A semiconductor device includes a semiconductor substrate, a first gate interconnection, a second gate interconnection, a first metal portion, an insulating member, and a second metal portion. The first gate interconnection and the second gate interconnection are disposed on a main surface of the semiconductor substrate with an interval therebetween. The first metal portion is formed on the first gate interconnection and the second gate interconnection. The first metal portion has a top surface located opposite to the semiconductor substrate at a region between the first gate interconnection and the second gate interconnection. A recess is formed in the top surface. The insulating member fills at least a portion of the recess. The second metal portion extends from an upper surface of the insulating member onto the top surface of the first metal portion.

Semiconductor device

An object is to provide a technique enabling conversion efficiency to be increased irrespective of an operating ambient temperature. A DC-DC converter includes switching elements, a drive unit which drives the switching elements to conduct synchronous rectification, a freewheel diode connected in parallel to the switching element, and a temperature detection circuit which detects a temperature of the freewheel diode. The drive unit stops driving the switching element when the temperature detected by the temperature detection circuit is equal to or lower than a predetermined first threshold value.

DC-DC converter

A semiconductor device of the present invention includes a transistor having a drain and a source, a voltage being applied between the drain and the source from a high-voltage power supply, a drive device that generates a source voltage and a gate voltage for the transistor from a voltage of a low-voltage power supply lower than that of the high-voltage power supply, and a voltage dividing circuit connected to the low-voltage power supply, wherein when the source voltage is lower than a certain value, an output voltage from the voltage dividing circuit is applied to the source.

A voltage detecting circuit of the present invention is formed of a differential amplifier and an H-detection filter circuit, and the differential amplifier amplifies a potential difference between an input voltage and a primary-side voltage to obtain a differential amplified voltage. The H-detection filter circuit extracts low frequency components of the differential amplified voltage to output a detection voltage. A DC/DC control IC outputs, to a control electrode of a transistor, a PWM signal obtained by shaping a pulse width based on the detection voltage, to thereby control an on/off operation of the transistor.

Switching control circuit and switching power supply device

A gate circuit includes a gate resistive element connected at one end to the gate of a power device, an on-switching device connected between a power supply and the other end of the gate resistive element, a first resistive element whose connection to the gate is controlled by a first switching device, a second resistive element whose connection to the gate is controlled by a second switching device, and having a higher resistance value than the first resistive element, excessive current suppression means for turning on the first switching device just when the current in the power device reaches a predetermined value, and turn-off delay means for, after the excessive current suppression means turns on the first switching device, turning off the on-switching device and the first switching device and turning on the second switching device to turn off the power device.

Gate circuit

A thread winder unit, which is capable of winding thread of spools set on spool bars, is removably attached to a machine body. The sewing machine includes a feed motor for feeding the thread during sewing, an upper thread state detecting sensor disposed between the feed motor and the thread winder unit for detecting tensed thread, and a CPU for controlling thread winding operations based on a signal from the upper thread state detecting sensor. The sewing machine intermittently drives the feed motor in a reverse direction to that in the sewing to feed the thread toward the thread winder unit, every time the upper thread state detecting sensor detects the tensed thread, and the thread winder unit winds the fed thread around the spool. The CPU, recognizing the thread wound by a given amount, stops winding.

There are provided an upper shaft clutch mechanism a bobbin including a slit , a horizontal holder including an inner holder and a blade tip , a bobbin driving member , bobbin driving member moving means for moving the bobbin driving member to freely advance or retreat between two positions having a separating position and a connecting position, a thread holding and catching member including an upper thread holding portion , an upper thread engaging portion and a thread position regulating portion which are always set in a retreat position and are set in an entry position during a thread winding operation, thread holding and catching member moving means for moving the thread holding and catching member to freely advance or retreat between two positions having a retreat position and an entry position, and a thread winding operation control portion for controlling the operation of each portion during the thread winding operation.

Lower thread winding device

In an embroidery sewing machine having a lower thread winding device, when the non-lower thread state of the bobbin is detected by a residual amount sensor, a sewing machine motor is stopped to detect and recognize the size of the embroidering frame of an embroidering device by means of a frame size sensor and the embroidering frame is moved corresponding to the size to position the corner of a workpiece held in the embroidering frame under a needle. Then, an extra sewing operation is carried out over the corner to consume the lower thread remaining in the bobbin, and subsequently, it is decided whether or not the embroidering frame is moved by a distance required for completely extracting the lower thread from the bobbin (an amount of the residual lower thread is detected when the non-thread state is detected by the residual amount sensor). If the distance is insufficient, the destination of the embroidering frame is updated to repeat the extra sewing operation over the next corner of the workpiece S, thereby completely extracting the lower thread from the bobbin.

Embroidery sewing machine with lower thread winding device

This invention relates to an electronic sewing machine in which sewing data consisting of the needle sewing positions encoded for each stitch of a predetermined stitch pattern is stored. It comprises at least a memory for storing sewing data consisting of the encoded stitch data in group in regard to the stitches the needle sewing positions of which change regularly and the read out time data which instructs the reading out of the encoded stitch data by the number of times equal to the number of stitches encoded in group. This composition is effective not only in reducing the capacity required for storing stitch data but also shortening the time required to process the stitch data.

Electronic sewing machine

A sewing machine for stitching a stitch pattern having a predetermined shape in accordance with stitch pattern data, comprising a memory circuit for storing an initial value indicating the needle swing position for stitch start, a basic stitch number indicating the stitch number required for the formation of one pattern, and quantity of needle swing every stitch pattern, a counter in which the high-order digit portion and the low-order digit portion have the same number of digits, and a control circuit for setting said basic needle number into the low-order digit portion of said counter, adding logic value '1' to each digit of the low-order digit portion, determining a needle swing position in accordance with the arithmetic data, and conducting automatic stitch of said stitch pattern in accordance with the needle swing position thus determined.
