In a water-supply line for performing water-supply to the rotors and the mechanical seal of a compressor, or in a condensed-water collection line for collecting condensed water of a dryer into the inlet port of the compressor, a water reservoir is provided at a position higher than the water-supply unit of the compressor. Moreover, there are provided a start-time water-supply line and a solenoid valve set up therein. Here, the start-time water-supply line establishes the connection between the lower portion of the water reservoir, and the inlet port of the compressor and the water-supply unit of the mechanical seal.

A fuel cell stack has an air chamber to which is introduced compressed air that is produced by compressing the atmosphere with a compressor. Energy is recovered from exhaust discharged from the air chamber as it is expanded by an expander. The compressor and the expander are connected to each other via the air chamber of the fuel cell stack through piping. The pressure of the exhaust flowing through the piping is detected by a pressure sensor and, based on the detected pressure, a throttle valve controls a flow rate of the exhaust drawn into the expander.

As a method of increasing the storage capacity of a magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus for recording and reproducing information to and from a magnetic tape in a cartridge, there is a helical scan recording method in which the magnetic tape is diagonally wound around a drum which rotates a magnetic head. With an apparatus adapted to this method, the disposition of the cartridge and the take-up reel for taking up the magnetic tape on the same plane arises a necessity of considerably bending the magnetic tape at the drum portion and, accordingly, the magnetic tape is damaged. In order to prevent the damage of the foregoing type, the tape passage surface from the cartridge to the drum and the tape passage from the drum to the take-up reel are formed by an angle at which the direction in which the magnetic tape is moved is changed due to winding of the magnetic tape around the drum so that the magnetic tape is not bent excessively. A threading device capable of three-dimensionally controlling the position of the magnetic tape in accordance with a predetermined tape passage is provided for the apparatus structured as described above. The threading device is formed by a link mechanism to be moved along the locus of a cam groove so that the three-dimensional position control can be performed.

Magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus

A tape guide device having apertures formed in two tape-winding surfaces of non-rotatable curvature portions. A tape restriction is provided at a connecting portion of the tape guide device interconnecting the curvature portions. A flange is provided on one of the curvature portions for movement along an axis thereof to adjust the height thereof. The flange has an outer diameter greater than that of the one curvature portion. The curvature portions are integrated with each other. According this, an air film is generated between the tape and the tape-winding surfaces by discharging air from the apertures, thereby reducing the friction coefficient between the tape and the tape-winding surfaces to suppress the increase of tape tension. The tape is restricted to fluctuate in the direction of width. Further, the attitude and relative positioning between the curvature portions can be secured with high precision. As a result, the tape load during the tape running is reduced, thereby stabilizing the tape running and prolonging the lifetime of the tape.

A magnetic recording and reproducing device and a magnetic tape library device are provided for properly recovering a function and issuing a warning when a failure of a magnetic head of the device takes place because of wear and dirt of the magnetic head. Further, a method for maintaining the magnetic head is provided. A wear sensor and a dirt sensor are prepared for sensing a wear amount of a state of dirt of the magnetic head. A head check controller operates to determine the wear amount of the magnetic head and the state of dirt based on the sensed result. In accordance with the determined result, the warning device is started for taking a precaution of preventing a head failure. As one aspect, the tape library device instructs to load the cleaning tape using a robot.

There is a height adjusting screw with a plate embedded in the concave portion of each prop, variably for adjusting the height of the support position in a predetermined range between a position lower than the upper surface of the prop and a position higher than the upper surface of the prop. A floor panel is supported by each prop of the floor base and has through holes for accessing the height adjusting screw for adjusting the support height at each corner according to the prop. This invention relates to an interior panel unit having a structure in which a plurality of rectangular floor base members to be installed on a foundation floor of a room are connected to each other by base joint members. A thermal printer wherein a sheet of recording paper is interposed between two drums provided on axially opposite sides of a shaft of a platen roll facing a line-type thermal head and an endless belt mounted on outer peripheries of the drum. One way clutches provided on a shaft of the drum will cause the paper to rotate together with the drums during recording and the recording paper is driven by the endless belt during paper feed and delivery operations to slide relative to the drums. The sheet of paper is fed to a lower portion of an open portion of the drums and is removed from an upper portion of the open portion of the drums so that the feed and delivery of the sheet of paper can be effected upon rotation of the drums in one direction, and the printing operation is started after a detection of a trailing end of the sheet of paper so that the printing operation can be reformed regardless of the length of the sheet of paper immediately after the feed of the sheet of paper.
