A paper cutter comprising a pair of four-joint link array mechanisms disposed in parallel between a paper holding member and a base, wherein pivotal links adjacent between the respective four-joint link array mechanisms are disposed to intersect with each other and to be slanted in directions opposite each other; in association with pivotal movements of the pivotal links, connecting links move in opposition to each other in a longitudinal direction; a downward operation force of the paper holding member acts as a pulling force on the respective connecting links; vertical movement of the paper holding member is constantly maintained in a parallel state with respect to the base; and a substantially uniform pressing force is imparted in a longitudinal direction of the paper holding member in cooperation with the vertical movement of the paper holding member.

Paper cutter

A paper abutted ruler is provided which can easily be moved on the surface of a surface plate and can simply and accurately be positioned in place. The paper abutted ruler is constructed such that magnet bases rotatably supported at their one ends to a bottom portion of a ruler body and having magnets affixed to lower surfaces of the magnet bases are disposed in the ruler body at opposite-side positions spaced in the ruler longitudinal direction, and the magnet bases are rotated in a direction to tilt upward in interlock with depression of an attraction release button disposed nearly at the center of the ruler body. By depressing the attraction release button to rotate the magnet bases in the direction to tilt upward, the magnet bases are held in a state forming a predetermined angle relative to the surface of the surface plate.

Paper abutted ruler

A cutter cassette mechanism includes a holding mechanism for holding a cutter blade in a completely inserted state and an extending mechanism for protruding the cutter blade from the case holder. The cutting blade is held in the holding mechanism when not used, and is promptly ejected by the extending mechanism when used. A cutting device mounted on a rail and a portable hand-operated cutter are also provided. Preferably, the cutting device includes a driving mechanism for shifting the cutting blade in the cutter cassette into an operative state in synchronization with the operation of pushing the cutter cassette.

Cutter cassette and cutting device

A cutter cassette includes a cutter case for holding a cutting blade slidably in a case holder. The cutter cassette further includes a holding mechanism for holding the cutter case in a completely inserted state and an extending mechanism for protruding the cutter case from the case holder. The cutting blade is held in the holding mechanism when not used, and is promptly ejected by the extending mechanism when used. A cutting device mounted on a rail and a portable hand-operated cutter are also provided. Preferably, the cutting device includes a driving mechanism for shifting the cutting blade in the cutter cassette into an operative state in synchronization with the operation of pushing the cutter cassette.

A spiral coil is used when stacking a plurality of sheets each having a plurality of holes punched at a constant pitch, and binding the sheets by inserting the spiral coil therethrough. The spiral coil has a different pitch from that between the holes of the sheets. The spiral coil may be densely wound or have a different pitch from that of the sheets. A bookbinding device is prepared for inserting the spiral coil through the holes in the sheets. The bookbinding device has the same pitch as that between the holes, and has an engaging portion at an end thereof for engagement with the spiral coil. The bookbinding device is inserted through the holes such that the spiral coil follows it and is plastically deformed, thereby binding the sheet. The spiral coil after the plastic deformation is held at a pitch after the deformation.

Spiral coil and bookbinding device and bookbinding method using the same

A coaxial cable includes an inner conductor and an insulation covering the inner conductor. A plastic tape, with a tape body and a metal layer, is provided on the insulation. An outer conductor is provided on the plastic tape and a jacket is provided on the outer conductor. The metal layer includes a first metal layer formed on the tape body by vapor deposition and a second metal layer formed on the first metal layer by electroplating.

Coaxial cable and coaxial multicore cable

A simplified and easy-to-use binding device is provided. A plurality of sheets are bound together by inserting a spiral coil through a series of holes punched in each of the sheets at certain intervals. In a first embodiment, a spiral coil having the same pitch as the interval between the holes is used. In a second embodiment, a densely spiraled coil is used. A coil leading guide is prepared for inserting the densely spiraled coil through the holes in the sheets. The coil leading guide has the same pitch as the interval between the holes, and is coupled to the densely spiraled coil through an engaging portion formed in an end portion of the coil leading guide. The coil leading guide is spirally inserted through the holes such that the densely spiraled coil follows the coil leading guide, whereby the plurality of sheets are bound together. There are further employed a base for retaining the sheets from the backside so as to hold the sheets even at edges, and a coil turning aid for pressing the spiral coil from above and turning it.

Simplified binding device using spiral coil

A twisted flat cable is provided which includes parallel fused portions and twisted pair portions alternating with the parallel fused portions. TPO (thermoplastic olefin) is used as an insulating material for an insulative layer that covers conductors to provide separately insulated conductors constituting the parallel fused portions and the twisted pair portions in the twisted flat cable. By virtue of this construction, the twisted flat cable has excellent transmission characteristics.

Twisted flat cable

A flat cable having a linear portion in at least a part thereof. The linear portion has a plurality of insulated conductors juxtaposed to one another with adjacent insulated conductors being adhered to each other to provide an integral insulative layer, and a resin tape applied to the surface of the integral insulative layer so as to conform to the shape of the surface. In the production of this flat cable, a plurality of insulated conductors, together with a resin tape, are feed into a mold. In the mold, adjacent insulated conductors in their insulative layers are fused to each other to form an integral insulative layer. The resin tape is applied to the integral insulative layer so as to conform to the shape of the surface of the integral insulative layer.
