To allow a fiber reinforced laminate to have sufficient light shielding ability and to improve adherence at the interface in the laminate and durability needed for it used for a shutter blade. A fiber reinforced laminate of the present invention includes: a substrate; a black coating; and a fiber reinforced plastic layer, characterized in that the black coating is provided between the substrate and the fiber reinforced plastic layer and contains a binder resin, black particles and a filler.

A shutter device functioning as a focal-plane shutter device for cameras, includes a shutter blade, a base plate, a first arm member and a second arm member. The first arm member has one end portion rotatably fitted to the shutter blade and further has the other end portion rotatably fitted to the base plate, while the second arm member has one end portion rotatably fitted to the shutter blade and further has the other end portion rotatably fitted to said base plate. A CPU in a computer includes a control information management table for storing information about whether an error has occurred in a control unit in the computer or in a control unit in a communications card. When an error occurs in any of the control units, the occurrence of the error is recorded in the control information management table, and an error message is transmitted by the monitor to an operator. When a dump collection command is issued by the operator in response to the error message, the monitor specifies the CPU in the computer or the communications card which operates the control unit where the error has occurred, by referring to the control information management table, and collects only the dump information corresponding to the control unit.

In a shutter device having a first driving lever which engages a shutter blade and which is given an urging force by a first spring and a second driving lever which is given an urging force by a second spring and which pushes the first driving lever from behind during an exposure action, the shutter device comprises a charge mechanism which, after the exposure action is performed by the shutter blade, causes the first spring and the second spring to be overcharged by moving the first driving lever and the second driving lever to an overcharging position and which, after that, returns to an initial position, wherein the first driving lever and the second driving lever are arranged to be moved from the overcharging position to an exposure start position by the urging forces of the first spring and the second spring, and wherein, after moving the first driving lever and the second driving lever to the overcharging position, the charge mechanism is urged toward the initial position by the urging force of the second spring obtained while the second driving lever is being moved from the overcharging position to the exposure start position.

A shutter device comprises a shutter blade which operates according to an exposure operation, a first blade driving spring for giving an urging force working in a predetermined direction to the shutter blade substantially over an entire operating range of the shutter blade, a second blade driving spring for giving the shutter blade an urging force working in the same direction as the first blade driving spring, and a charging mechanism for charging the first blade driving spring and the second blade driving spring. Since the charging mechanism includes a first charging member which travels to charge the first blade driving spring and a second charging member which travels to charge the second blade driving spring, the timings of charging the respective springs and the torques required to charge the respective springs can be optimally set.

A camera shutter has a shutter base plate for pivotally supporting blade groups each constituted by a plurality of blades carried by arms and a thick-walled portion formed on the surface of the shutter base plate that carries the blade groups. The thick-walled portion is formed in an area which excludes a pivoting area in which the arms make their pivotal motions and which is adjacent to the pivoting area. The shutter base plate and the thick-walled portion are integrally formed of a synthetic resin.

The present invention relates to a braking device for a focal plane shutter in a camera. In the early stage of a braking operation on a shutter curtain, a relatively weak braking force is applied, and in the closing stage of the braking operation, a strong braking force is applied to insure that without causing the shutter curtain to bounce or to be damaged by shock, the shutter curtain is stopped. The device is constructed from two brake members arranged so that in the early stage the first brake member takes action, and in the closing stage, the second brake member takes action to add a braking force to that of the first brake member.

In a focal plane shutter of the kind having a plurality of divided blades pivotally arranged to be turnable on driving arms in an overlapped state, the weight of the blades is reduced by making them from very thin material; the blades are reinforced with embossed protrusions which are formed in the longitudinal direction of the blades for the purpose of preventing them from flexing and being damaged during their travel. Each of the embossed protrusions is within the difference in stepped height between the surfaces of the blades and the heads of blade carrying studs disposed on the driving arms. Therefore, the shutter can be smoothly operated without increasing the thickness of the blades as a whole.

Disclosed is a focal plane shutter for a camera having a shutter blade group consisting of a plural number of light shading thin plates held with two arms, so designed that the slit forming blade positioned at the end of the arm and a light shading auxiliary blade positioned next to the above are made to move in parallel by way of a parallel linkage and that a plural number of other auxiliary blades are mounted rotatably around the shaft provided on the one arm and engaged with a common shaft provided on the other arm in such a manner that along with the rotation of the latter arm they are rotated with the latter shaft.
