A dynamic vibration absorber needs to be designed so that the natural frequency of the dynamic vibration absorber alone becomes equal to the natural frequency of a stator. If these natural frequencies greatly deviate from each other, the effect is reduced. Therefore, the natural frequency of the dynamic vibration absorber alone needs to be accurately calculated to make designing. However, in actual, the natural frequency is greatly influenced by the rigidity around the mounting position of a vibration damping target, and thus there is a problem that the natural frequency becomes different from the designed value upon mounting. An object of the present invention is to reduce an influence on the natural frequency of the dynamic vibration absorber alone given by the rigidity around the mounting position, by mounting a plurality of dynamic vibration absorbers to a dynamic vibration absorber mounting member, thereby making the dynamic vibration absorber more effective.

To diagnose the operational condition of photographic apparatus, the apparatus forms a check sample. The check sample is sent to the densitometer to fetch the measured density data into the personal computer. If the operational condition of the photographic apparatus is abnormal, the personal computer fetches the operational data under management in the photographic apparatus to determine a countermeasure for the abnormal state. The countermeasure is transferred to the photographic apparatus to adjust the adjust failure element automatically. Disclosed is a collating device for collating the images on a photographic film with those printed on a printing paper from the photographic film while conveying the film and the printing paper. The collating device includes a reading device for reading a frame number for identifying the frame image on the film, and a printing device for printing the frame number which has been read by the reading device on the printing paper on which has been printed the image on the film which corresponds to that frame member. The frame numbers of the film are printed on the printing paper on which have been printed the images on the film. In consequence, the print images on the printing paper are easily made to correspond to the corresponding frame images on the film, and designation of the frames is facilitated.

A proper layout of a composed image is simulated and conformed on a monitor screen before printing the composed image. Framing lines are displayed to define a printing area on the monitor screen according to a desired printing magnification. Two originals, which are complementarily covered, are separately placed in a printing station of a printer and shifted so as to display their images at a desired location with respect to the framing lines on the monitor screen, thereby simulating a desired layout of the two images as a composed image.

In a photographic printing system, it is necessary to measure the density of an original film to determine its exposure value and to precisely control conveyance/suspension of the original film in order to optimally print the images of each frame. When an image sensor is used for measurement, the image sensor should have a relatively rough picture element density in order to perform the calculation of the exposure value at high speed, but should also have a fine density in order to precisely control the conveyance of the original film. In order to resolve the dilemma, image information from the original film is detected with an image sensor of a relatively low resolution, and then the resolution is increased by picture element pitch interpolation through moving the original film at a minute pitch, thereby achieving precise and fast detection and processing of image information.
