Laser welding method and laser welding apparatus

Provided is a method of welding laminated metal foils that can prevent blowholes and spatter from being formed. It is a method of welding laminated metal foils sandwiched between a pair of metal plates to the pair of metal plates. The method of welding laminated metal foils sandwiched between a pair of metal plates to the pair of metal plates includes locally pressing and crimping the laminated metal foils sandwiched between the pair of metal plates at a welding point in a laminating direction, and welding the crimped pair of metal plates and laminated metal foils at the welding point.

Method of welding laminated metal foils

A laminated structure is manufactured using an extruder die in which an ejection port is provided, the laminated structure including a core layer, a first surface layer, and a second surface layer. The extruder die includes a first surface layer material conveyance path through which a raw material of the first surface layer is conveyed, a second surface layer material conveyance path through which a raw material of the second surface layer is conveyed, and a core layer material conveyance path through which a raw material of the core layer is conveyed. The paths merge at the ejection port. The extruder die has a shape in which a downstream portion downstream of a merging location that is the ejection port does not contact the injected laminated structure formed of the raw materials. The laminated structure is injected by causing viscous fluids as the raw materials into the paths, respectively.

Method of manufacturing laminated structure

In a spirally-wound electrode, in a first region, short sides of first and second separator sheets on an inner side are aligned with each other. In a second region, a negative electrode sheet, the first separator sheet, a positive electrode sheet, and the second separator sheet are arranged from an inner side toward an outer side in a radial direction. The second region extends from a position where short sides of the negative and positive electrode sheets on the inner side are aligned with each other in a same phase to a short side of the positive electrode sheet on an outer side. In a third region, the negative electrode sheet, and the first and second separator sheets are arranged from the inner side toward the outer side in the radial direction. The third region extends to a short side of the negative electrode sheet on the outer side.

Spirally-wound electrode and method of manufacturing spirally-wound electrode

Provided is a winding device capable of speeding up a winding operation while ensuring a winding quality. A feed roller feeds a sheet-like member. A take-up roller takes up the sheet-like member. Each roller guides transportation of the sheet-like member between the feed roller and the take-up roller. A sum of moments of inertia of each free roller is determined so that a variation in a tension applied to the sheet-like member is equal to or less than 16.7 [N/m].
