A fan includes blades and a side plate. The side plate includes a fan ring portion having a cylindrical shape centered on a fan axis. A guide part that is annular is arranged on one side of the fan ring portion in the axial direction and forms a suction port through which the air sucked into the fan passes. A communication path that allows an upstream space located on the one side in the axial direction with respect to the guide part to communicate with a gap between the fan ring portion and the guide part is formed outside the guide part in a radial direction of the fan axis. The fan ring portion is located outside in the radial direction with respect to an innermost peripheral portion of the guide part located on an innermost side in the radial direction.

Blower

An air conditioner for a vehicle includes a casing that forms an air passage through which air flows, a blower fan to blow out air, and a heating device to heat air. The casing includes a passage portion through which air flows, a warm air passage that allows air to flow to the heating device, and a bypass passage that allows air to bypass the heating device. A width dimension of the passage portion in a second direction is larger than that of the heating device in the second direction, and is smaller than a height dimension of the passage portion in a first direction.

Air conditioner for vehicle

An occupant detection system may detect a state of an occupant in a vehicle compartment. The occupant detection system may photograph the vehicle compartment and generate an image. The occupant detection system may change an attitude in order to change a position of an imaging region within the vehicle compartment. The occupant detection system may estimate the attitude based on information included in the image and control an operation based on the estimated attitude. The sensor may be provided by an infrared temperature sensor. The image may be provided by a thermal image showing a temperature distribution of the vehicle compartment. The occupant detection system may store a correspondence relationship between a position of a specific temperature boundary included in the thermal image and the attitude. The occupant detection system may estimate the attitude based on the correspondence relationship.

Occupant detection system

A blowing device includes: an axial fan; and a fan shroud housing the axial fan. The fan shroud includes an air inlet part into which an air flow is introduced, the air inlet part having a shape corresponding to a peripheral shape of a heat exchanger, and an air outlet part from which the air flow introduced into the air inlet part flows out. The fan shroud further includes a passage formation part to define an air passage through which air introduced from the air inlet part flows to the air outlet part. The passage formation part has at least one rib projected toward the heat exchanger. The rib is defined within a range corresponding to a narrow portion where the air inlet part and a peripheral part of the axial fan are close to each other in a radial direction of the axial fan.
