An electric vehicle includes a rotating electrical machine; a motor case that accommodates the rotating electrical machine; a cooling mechanism that supplies oil to the rotating electrical machine and cools the rotating electrical machine; an inverter that drives the rotating electrical machine; and a connecting member that electrically connects the inverter and the rotating electrical machine, wherein the electric vehicle is of a structure in which the inverter is integrated with the motor case, the cooling mechanism includes a supply port provided inside the motor case at a position upward from the rotating electrical machine to discharge the oil to the connecting member, and the connecting member includes a portion provided inwardly in a radial direction from an outer periphery of the rotating electrical machine inside the motor case, at a position upward from a rotation center of the rotating electrical machine and downward from the supply port.

Electric vehicle with rotating electrical machine, motor case, inverter and cooling mechanism

An electric drive unit includes a multi-phase AC motor including a plurality of first terminals, and a power converter including a plurality of second terminals. The power converter is fixed to an electric motor case so as to partially overlap the AC motor in an axial direction with a wall portion interposed therebetween. Each first terminal includes a first extended portion extending from the stator along the axial direction, and a first fastening portion. Each second terminal includes a second extended portion extending along an extending direction at a portion of the power converter that does not overlap the AC motor in the axial direction; and a second fastening portion. The electric motor case includes a communication hole formed in the wall portion, and a service hole formed in a portion located on an extension line of the fastener parallel to an insertion direction of the fastener.

Electric drive unit for driving a vehicle

The cooling apparatus uses oil to cool an electric motor whose output is transmitted to a drive shaft inserted into a motor shaft via a reduction gear and a differential gear. An oil seal seals the gap between the differential case of the differential gear and the outer peripheral surface of the drive shaft. An oil passage is formed inside the drive shaft. An oil introduction hole is formed in the drive shaft on the side of the differential gear with respect to the oil seal to introduce oil from the differential gear into the in-drive-shaft oil passage. An oil outlet hole is formed in the drive shaft on the side of the electric motor with respect to the oil seal to draw oil from the in-drive-shaft oil passage to the inside of the motor shaft.

Cooling apparatus for electric motor

A control device of an electric vehicle includes: a target rotation speed calculation unit that calculates a target rotation speed of a drive wheel based on a vehicle body speed; and a slip control unit that detects a slip of the drive wheel when a wheel speed exceeds the target rotation speed of the drive wheel and that controls motor torque of the motor in such a manner that the wheel speed becomes an appropriate rotation speed in detection of the slip. Further, the slip control unit controls the motor torque by feedback control according to a difference between the rotation speed of the motor and the target rotation speed of the drive wheel in detection of the slip.

An electric power conversion system includes: an inverter; a voltage converter including a high-voltage end connected to a direct-current power source and a low-voltage end connected to the inverter; and a controller. The controller is configured to control switching elements such that a voltage of the low-voltage end becomes lower than a voltage of the high-voltage end in a first state. The controller is configured to control the switching elements such that the voltage of the low-voltage end becomes equal to the voltage of the high-voltage end in a second state.

A method of manufacturing a reactor that includes a reactor and a pair of core segments. The method includes mounting the reactor coil onto the pair of core segments, and placing the core segments face to face, with a thermosetting adhesive sandwiched there between. The method further includes placing a heating core such that one end of the heating core around which a heating coil is wound faces one of the core segments, and the other end of the heating core faces the other core segment; producing heat in the core segments by an alternating magnetic flux; and binding together the core segment by a temperature rise and cure of the thermosetting adhesive.

Manufacturing method of reactor

A semiconductor device may include coolers, semiconductor modules, and a pair of connecting pipes. The coolers are arranged in a line and each of which includes a first flow path. Each of the semiconductor modules is interposed between a corresponding pair of the coolers. Each of the connecting pipes communicates with the adjacent coolers. A pair of coolant holes may be provided at one of the coolers located at one end in the stacking direction. A pair of second flow paths may extend respectively from the coolant holes to one of the coolers located at other end in the stacking direction. A bolt-head retainer and an internally threaded portion may be provided in each second flow path, the bolt-head retainer retaining a head of a bolt, and the internally threaded portion fixing the bolt. The coolers between the bolt-lead retainers and the internally threaded portions are fixed by the bolts.

Semiconductor device

The invention relates to a method of manufacturing a rotor for performing a magnetizing process of magnetizing a plurality of magnet materials that are assembled in a rotor core. A magnetization device is used which has a coil group configured of a plurality of coils that are disposed side by side in a manner that winding directions of adjacent coils are opposite to each other, the coil group is configured of sub coils at both ends and two or more main coils between the sub coils, and all of the coils are connected in series. Further, in the magnetizing process, a partial magnetization of magnetizing the magnet material among the plurality of magnet materials to which magnetic flux interlinking with two adjacent main coils is applied is performed a plurality of times, so as to magnetize all the plurality of magnet materials.

A power conversion apparatus includes a transformer; a primary side full bridge circuit provided on a primary side of the transformer; a first port connected to the primary side full bridge circuit; a second port connected to a center tap of the primary side of the transformer; a secondary side full bridge circuit provided on a secondary side of the transformer; a third port connected to the secondary side full bridge circuit; and a control unit configured to cause an upper arm of the secondary side full bridge circuit to operate in an active region in a case where a capacitor connected to the third port is charged with a transmitted power transmitted to the secondary side full bridge circuit via the transformer from the primary side full bridge circuit when power of the second port is stepped up and the stepped up power is output to the first port.

Power conversion apparatus and method for starting up the same

A magnetically coupled reactor includes a coupled core member, a first coil, and a second coil. The coupled core member includes a first core and a second core made of a magnetic material and disposed to face each other, a coil channel, and a sheet-like magnetic body by which a coupling portion between cores is put between the first core and the second core at an outer portion of the first and second cores. Each coil is wound around a leg through the coil channel in a lap winding manner such that the coils are overlapped on top of each other in the coil channel when seen in an axial direction. The sheet-like magnetic body extends from the coupling portion between coils into the coil channel and includes a portion arranged between coils located between the coils in the axial direction.

Magnetically coupled reactor and power converter

A stator structure which enables coils to be fitted over teeth while the circularity of the stator core and the parallelism between the end surfaces of the stator core are maintained. A stator structure is provided with: a stator core which is formed by stacking steel plates and which comprises a yoke and teeth; and coils which are fitted over the teeth so as to surround the teeth. A cut is formed only in one part of the yoke, and the cut is opened. Opening the cut allows the coils to be fitted over the teeth while the circularity of the stator core and the parallelism between the end surfaces of the stator core are maintained.

Stator manufacturing method

There is provided a rotating electric machine capable of preventing a coolant from being retained at an outer surface of a rotor. This rotating electric machine includes a rotation shaft provided so as to be rotatable, a core body secured to the rotation shaft, a permanent magnet embedded in the core body, and an end plate provided so as to be opposed to an axial end surface of the core body. A first coolant channel is formed in the rotation shaft to allow a coolant to flow therethrough. A second coolant channel is formed between the end plate and the axial end surface of the core body to communicate with the first coolant channel. A partition wall that partitions the second coolant channel in a circumferential direction and a path wall that guides the coolant in the second coolant channel toward an outer peripheral edge region of the axial end surface where the permanent magnet is placed are formed inside the second coolant channel.
