Provided are a resin molding mold enabling an intake manifold made of a resin to be manufactured at low cost, an intake manifold, and a method for molding a resin for an intake manifold. The resin molding mold for an intake manifold includes a slide mold provided at an end of a surge tank and a plurality of combination-type core molds molding an inner surface of the surge tank. The core molds include a first core member capable of a relative movement in advance of another core member after resin molding, and a second core member capable of moving with utilizing an inner space formed by the relative movement of the first core member. The first core member and the second core member are configured to be extractable through a space inwardly of a resin-molded flange.

Disclosed is an intake manifold having a surge tank connected to an air intake passage for air to be supplied to an internal combustion engine. The intake manifold includes a gas introduction section communicated to the air intake passage or the surge tank for introducing gas containing fuel component to the surge tank and a negative pressure feed passage communicated to a portion of the air intake passage or the surge tank which portion is upstream of the gas introduction section in the movement direction of the air and configured to feed a negative pressure inside the surge tank to the outside. The negative pressure feed passage is connected to the air intake passage or the surge tank via an expansion chamber having a larger cross-sectional area than the cross-sectional area of the negative pressure feed passage.

A waterproof connecting structure for a pipe for connecting an intake passage of an internal combustion engine and an external gas detector to convey gas into the intake passage. The structure includes a connecting space to which the pipe is connected and a partition wall formed between the intake passage and the connecting space. The connecting space has a larger diameter than the pipe. The partition wall includes an elongate hole for placing the interior of the intake passage and the connecting space in fluid communication. This configuration prevents intrusion of droplets drifting in through intake air and allows a high degree of freedom for location of the pipe.

A gas introducing structure of an intake path includes a gas introducing path introducing a gas into an intake airflow in the intake path of an internal combustion engine, wherein an inner peripheral surface of the gas introducing path is made of a bottom surface appearing as a straight line at a lower side of a perpendicular cross section of the inner peripheral surface and a curved wall surface appearing as a convex curved line, connecting with each end of the straight line at an angle, at an upper side of the perpendicular cross section of the inner peripheral surface.

A raised portion is formed at a predetermined location on an inside surface of a wall portion of an intake manifold. A gas introduction hole for introducing gas containing water vapor is formed in another predetermined location, other than in the raised portion, in the inside surface of the wall portion. An intake air negative pressure outlet hole for releasing intake air negative pressure within the surge tank to the outside is formed in the raised portion. A guide groove which catches moisture that trickles down the inside surface of the wall portion above the raised portion and guides it to a location away from the intake air negative pressure outlet hole, is formed in a region above the intake air negative pressure outlet hole in a rising surface of the raised portion.
