The vehicle height adjustment device includes: a vehicle height adjuster which adjusts vehicle height; a prohibiting mode setter which sets a prohibiting mode that prohibits vehicle height adjustment by the vehicle height adjuster; a first prohibition release unit which performs release of the prohibiting mode in the prohibiting mode setter; and a second prohibition release unit which enables vehicle height adjustment by the vehicle height adjuster, while the prohibiting mode is set by the prohibiting mode setter.

Vehicle height adjustment device

A suspension system (vehicle) includes: an air suspension that is inserted between a vehicle body and each of wheels and that is capable of extending and contracting by means of pressure of working fluid; a compressed air control unit that controls the working fluid; an electric power supplier that supplies electric power to the compressed air control unit; and a power saver that stops flow of the working fluid when abnormality occurs in the electric power supplier. When a vehicle has a predetermined vehicle height, the power saver stops the flow of the working fluid, and when the vehicle has a vehicle height other than the predetermined vehicle height, the power saver allows the working fluid to flow until the vehicle height reaches the predetermined vehicle height, and then stops the flow of the working fluid.

Suspension system and vehicle with adjustable vehicle height

An electric power steering device provides an appropriate power assist from the motor even when torque sensors have failed and the steering torque is no longer detected. If an error is detected in a torque sensor, the motor is driven based on the rotor rotation angle detected by a resolver and assist characteristics. When the absolute value of the rotor turning angle velocity calculated based on the rotor rotation angle falls to or below a prescribed value, a process is started for reducing the current driving the motor, and if the state in which the absolute value of the rotor turning angle velocity has fallen to or below the prescribed value continues over a prescribed length of time, the process for reducing the current is interrupted and, because an assist current was flowing at said time of interruption, an appropriate power assist can be given during a steering retention period.

Electric power steering device

A reset rod () of a thermal overload relay is configured to be switchable between a manual reset position in which a reversal mechanism () is manually returned to an initial state prior to reversal by performing a pushing-in operation, and an automatic reset position in which a pushed-in state is held by a pushing and rotating operation from this manual reset position, and the reversal mechanism () is automatically returned to the initial position. In addition, axial runout restriction portions (and), which restrict axial runout of the reset rod () when the reset rod () is held in the automatic reset position, are provided.

Thermal overload relay

Disclosed is an idle stop control device capable of relieving reaction force (kickback) of a handle occurring at idle stop controlled by the control of the idle stop control device. Specifically, an EPSECU () detects the rotational speed of an electric motor by detecting the rotational angle (&#x3b8;) of the electric motor using a resolver (), and at the same time, detects the steering torque using a torque sensor (). Subsequently, the EPSECU determines whether or not the rotational speed of the electric motor and the steering torque are inside an idle stop transition area (P) by referring to a table () stored in a memory () in advance. When either or both of the rotational speed of the electric motor and the steering torque are outside the idle stop transition area (P), a signal requesting the prohibition of idle stop transition is output to an idle stop control device () via a cable (). Upon receiving the signal requesting the prohibition of idle stop transition, the idle stop control device () prohibits the control of transition to idle stop even when conditions for idle stop are met.

Disclosed is an electric power steering device capable of applying a prescribed steering assist force to a steering assembly, even when a torque sensor is out of order and the electric power steering device is in a state of being unable to sense steering torque by the torque sensor. Using an angle of rotation of a rotating element, which is detected by a resolver that serves as a rotating element angle of rotation sensing unit of a motor, a steering angle and a steering angular velocity are estimated, and a prescribed steering assist force is applied to a steering assembly by the motor, on the basis of an estimated steering angle and/or an estimated steering angular velocity.

An electric power steering apparatus detects, as an abnormal phase, a phase other than a combination of phases whose interphase voltage is of nearly zero volts if a q-axis current is equal to or smaller than a first threshold value though a q-axis voltage is being applied. Alternatively, the electric power steering apparatus calculates a base electric angle at which the q-axis current is equal to or smaller than a third threshold value though the q-axis voltage is being applied, and determines an abnormal phase based on the base electric angle.

Protective relay

A thermal overload relay includes a main bimetal for detection of an overload current, a shifter associated with the main bimetal, a release lever working according to a displacement of the shifter, a contact reversing mechanism for changing-over contacts by reversing action caused by rotation of the release lever, and a manipulation structure for manipulating the release lever and the contact reversing mechanism. The manipulation structure includes a reset bar for returning the contact reversing mechanism to an initial state. The reset bar is arranged to change-over between a manual reset state in which the reset bar can be pushed-in and an automatic reset state in which the reset bar is pushed-in and turned from the manual reset state and held in that state.

The rotation angle detection device detects the rotation angle of a rotary member by employing, at the least, either a sine wave signal or a cosine wave signal that is generated as the rotary member is rotated, and employs a change per unit time in the sine wave signal or cosine wave signal to determine whether an output abnormality has occurred in the rotation angle detection device. Further, this rotation angle device is employed to detect the motor angle of an electric power steering apparatus.

A thermal overload relay has a case, a main bimetal bending upon detection of an overload current, a release lever rotatably supported by an adjusting link and rotating according to a shifter displaced in response to the bending of the main bimetals, and a contact reversing mechanism for change-over contacts responsive to a rotation of the release lever. The main bimetal, release lever and contact reversing mechanism are disposed in the case. The contact reversing mechanism has a movable plate, and a reversing spring stretched between the other side of the movable plate and a spring support. The other end of the movable plate and the spring support is positioned opposite a support point. The release lever has a release lever supporting part, a reversing spring pushing part, a cam contact part, and a displacement input part, in which the release lever supporting part is pivoted on the adjusting link.

A thermal overload relay includes main bimetals which bend upon detection of an overload current; a release lever displaced via movement of a shifter moved in response to the bending of the main bimetals; and a contact reversing mechanism for changing-over contacts responsive to a rotation of the release lever. The main bimetals, the release lever and the contact reversing mechanism are all disposed in a case. The contact reversing mechanism includes a pivotable movable plate; a reversing spring reversing the movable plate by coupling with a rotated release lever; and an interlock plate rotating around a support shaft together with the movable plate. Each contact has a normally opened contact piece and a normally closed contact piece and is disposed respectively in the vicinity of a front surface and in the vicinity of a back surface of the interlock plate.

A thermal overload relay is provided with an external case, and an adjustment dial with a cam inserted into an adjustment dial insertion hole provided in the external case for adjusting a settling current. A press-fitting section is provided at one of the adjustment dial and the adjustment dial insertion hole, and a locking section is provided at the other of the adjustment dial and the adjustment dial insertion hole. The press-fitting section is press-fit and retained in the locking section.
