An electric power source device includes an auxiliary electric power source for a main electric power source that supplies electric power to electric power supply targets, including an electric circuit of a control system for controlling a specific control target and an electric circuit of a power system that requires larger electric power than the electric circuit of the control system; and a selection circuit configured to supply the electric power from one electric power source having a higher voltage, out of the main electric power source and the auxiliary electric power source, to at least the electric circuit of the control system among the electric power supply targets.

Electric power source device

An auxiliary power supply device includes an auxiliary power supply; and an auxiliary power supply control unit configured to switch a mode of the auxiliary power supply to an output mode or a non-output mode when electric power is output from a main power supply to a drive motor. The auxiliary power supply control unit is configured to switch the mode to the non-output mode when a required power value required by the drive motor is equal to or smaller than a predetermined power value and to switch the mode to the output mode when the required power value is larger than the predetermined power value, the predetermined power value being set to a value smaller than outputtable electric power that is electric power outputtable from the main power supply.

Auxiliary power supply device and electric vehicle

A power supply circuit includes a first P-channel MOSFET and a first voltage application circuit. The first P-channel MOSFET is provided between an on-board power supply and a vehicular apparatus that is a power supply target, and is configured to switch a power-ON state in which electric power is supplied to the vehicular apparatus and a power-OFF state in which the supply of the electric power is interrupted. The first voltage application circuit is configured to apply a voltage having a potential lower than a potential of the on-board power supply to a gate terminal such that a state of the first P-channel MOSFET is switched to the power-ON state, and apply a voltage having a potential equal to the potential of the on-board power supply to the gate terminal such that the state of the first P-channel MOSFET is switched to the power-OFF state.

Power supply circuit and power supply apparatus

An auxiliary power source device includes a main power source-side path, an auxiliary power source-side path, a power source control circuit, an analog determination circuit that is provided separately from the power source control circuit, and a power source switching circuit. The power source control circuit controls switching between a conduction state and an interruption state on the main power source-side path and the auxiliary power source-side path. The analog determination circuit determines an occurrence of abnormality in the main power source and generates a switching signal when the occurrence of the abnormality in the main power source is determined. The power source switching circuit switches a power source for supplying power to a power supply target, from the main power source to the auxiliary power source.

Auxiliary power source device

An auxiliary power supply device includes a parasitic diode forming a parallel circuit together with a second switching element and connected in a forward direction to a main power supply, and a parasitic diode forming a parallel circuit together with a fourth switching element and connected in a reverse direction to an auxiliary power supply. When a state parameter indicates that a reaction force that interferes with operation of an assist motor is applied, an electronic control unit turns ON a first switching element, turns OFF the second switching element, turns ON a third switching element, and turns OFF the fourth switching element. A regenerative current from the assist motor flows to the auxiliary power supply via an inverter, the third switching element, and the parasitic diode.

Auxiliary power supply device and electric power steering system

A power source device includes a switching circuit configured to switch the power supply mode between a first power supply mode, in which power is supplied to a drive circuit for an electric motor by only a main power source, and a second power supply mode, in which power is supplied to the drive circuit utilizing both the main power source and an auxiliary power source. A control device includes: a determination unit that determines whether the operation state of the electric motor is a regeneration state or a power-running state; and a unit configured to limit power to be supplied to the drive circuit when the power supply mode is the second power supply mode and it is determined by the determination unit that the operation state of the electric motor is the regeneration state.

Power source system

A misfire detector for an internal combustion engine sets an operating state of the internal combustion engine as a parameter and detects misfire based on the parameter. The misfire detector includes a friction-torque estimating unit and a misfire determining unit. The friction-torque estimating unit estimates indicated torque and inertial torque of the internal combustion engine when the load of the internal combustion engine is stable, obtains a difference between the indicated torque and the inertial torque, and estimates friction torque of the internal combustion engine using the difference. The misfire determining unit determines misfire by correcting the parameter using the friction torque estimated.

Misfire detector for detecting misfire of internal combustion engine

An air-fuel ratio sensor includes a sensor element inserted through a cylindrical housing for detecting an air-fuel ratio in an atmosphere of unburnt gas, and a measured gas side cover disposed on an end of the cylindrical housing so as to cover the sensor element and defining an inside chamber for storing therein a gas to be measured. The cover has a nested structure composed of a plurality of cup-shaped cover members disposed one inside another, each cover member having a gas inlet hole formed in a side wall thereof and a bottom hole formed in a bottom wall thereof. The gas inlet hole of an innermost one of the plural cover members that directly faces the sensor element is offset from an air-fuel ratio detecting portion of the sensor element toward the housing in an axial direction of the sensor.

Air-fuel ratio sensor

Correction of a fuel injection amount in an internal combustion engine during purge of evaporative fuel is performed on the basis of an output from an intake-oxygen concentration sensor disposed in an intake passage of the internal combustion engine. If the amplitude of fluctuations in engine speed becomes equal to or greater than a predetermined value, it is determined that there is an anomaly in engine output. In addition, if an anomaly in engine output is detected during purge and if no anomaly in engine output is detected during stoppage of purge, an ECU determines that an anomaly has occurred in the intake-oxygen concentration sensor, cancels correction of the fuel injection amount based on an output from the intake-oxygen concentration sensor during purge, and corrects the fuel injection amount on the basis of outputs from exhaust-gas air-fuel ratio sensors.
