A fender liner includes a fender liner body provided in an arch of a fender included in a wheel house of a vehicle. The fender liner body includes a recess that is provided from an upper portion of the fender liner body in a vehicle height direction to a rear portion of the fender liner body in a vehicle front-rear direction and is greatly recessed rearward in the vehicle front-rear direction more in the rear portion than in the upper portion.

Fender liner

A vehicle understructure includes a flow adjusting member provided rearward of a protruding member protruding further toward a vehicle lower side than a lower surface of a rocker panel, a front bumper, or a rear bumper as viewed from a vehicle width direction, the flow adjusting member being configured to adjust an air flow that flows from a vehicle front side toward a vehicle rear side along the protruding member during traveling of a vehicle. The flow adjusting member has a main part and a guide part provided at a lower part of an end part of the flow adjusting member, the guide part being inclined with respect to the main part toward the vehicle rear side such that a distance between the guide part and a rear end of the vehicle reduces toward an end part of the guide part in the vehicle width direction.

Vehicle understructure

A vehicle rear structure includes a bottom cover disposed rearward of a rear wheel well in a vehicle front-rear direction. The bottom cover includes an air inlet into which air that has flowed from a front side toward a rear side in the vehicle front-rear direction is taken such that the air flows outward in a vehicle-width direction. The bottom cover further includes an air outlet provided at a position outward of the air inlet in the vehicle-width direction. The air outlet is an air outlet from which the air flows from the air inlet outward in the vehicle-width direction is discharged outward in the vehicle-width direction and downward in a vehicle-height direction.

Vehicle rear structure

A mud guard portion is placed on a vehicle rear side relative to a rear tire. This makes it possible to restrain mud or the like splashed by the rear tire from hitting an underfloor. Further, an inside flow regulating portion is provided adjacently to an inner side of the mud guard portion in the vehicle width direction, and the inside flow regulating portion extends from its upper end toward a vehicle lower side and toward the vehicle rear side. Hereby, when a travel wind flowing on an inner side of the rear tire in the vehicle width direction in the wheel house hits the inside flow regulating portion, the travel wind flows toward the vehicle rear side along a deflection wall portion of the inside flow regulating portion. Accordingly, turbulence of the air on a vehicle rear side of the rear tire due to the travel wind is restrained.

Vehicular mud guard structure

A vehicle side structure of a pickup truck includes a cabin; and a loading platform that is disposed adjacent to a rear side of the cabin in the vehicle forward-rearward direction, is configured to include a bottom plate, a pair of right and left side panels, and a tail gate, and is formed in a box shape that opens toward a vehicle upper side. Each of the right and left side panels includes a traveling wind inlet part that is disposed at an outer part of each of the right and left side panels in a vehicle width direction, opens toward a vehicle front side, and includes a first opening, a traveling wind blowing part that is disposed at an upper end part of each of the right and left side panels, opens toward the vehicle upper side, and includes a second opening, and an intermediate part.

Vehicle side structure of pickup truck

A vehicle structure includes: a framework member; an outer panel disposed at the outer side of the framework member, and that configures a design face of the vehicle; a foamed member disposed as a reinforcing material between the framework member and the outer panel, and that is formed from a material foamed at a first temperature from a precursor state and then solidifies at a second temperature lower than the first temperature; and a reinforcement member that is interposed between the outer panel and the foamed member in a state in which the outer panel and the foamed member are respectively joined together so as to fix the foamed member to the outer panel, and that is configured from a material having a smaller shrinkage ratio than a shrinkage ratio of the foamed member when the temperature is lowered from the first temperature to the second temperature.

Vehicle structure and manufacturing method for vehicle structural component

A vehicle lower structure includes: an introducing port into which air is introduced, the introducing port being provided to a front part of a vehicle; an air outlet from which the air blows, the air outlet being provided to an underfloor downward of a bumper cover in a vehicle-vertical direction, the bumper cover being located at the front part of the vehicle; and a spat provided frontward in a vehicle-longitudinal direction of a front wheel, the spat including: a front wall protruding from a front edge of the air outlet in the vehicle-longitudinal direction toward a vehicle-downward direction in the vehicle-vertical direction; and a rear wall protruding from a rear edge of air outlet in the vehicle-longitudinal direction toward the vehicle-downward direction, and the spat opening at both sides of the air outlet in a vehicle-width direction.

Vehicle lower structure

A vehicle front portion structure, first guides are formed in a lower inner wall portion that configures part of a wheel well, and are inclined outward in a vehicle width direction and in a vehicle rearward direction as seen in a plan view. Furthermore, first open portions that open toward the vehicle rearward direction are formed in rear end portions of the first guides. For this reason, airflows flow along vehicle width direction inner surfaces of the first guides such that the airflows are altered to flows in the vehicle rearward direction. Because of this, inside the wheel well the airflows flow in the vehicle rearward direction from the first open portions, so the airflows are restrained from being blown outward in the vehicle width direction from the wheel well resulting in the occurrence of air turbulence at due to the airflows rushing out from the wheel well is controlled.

Vehicle front portion structure

A vehicle rear portion structure includes: a moving portion that is disposed at a vehicle rear end portion at an inner side of each of two corner portions of the vehicle width direction, the moving portion including a wall face that extends in a vehicle front-and-rear direction and a vehicle up-and-down direction, and the moving portion being movable to a stowed position and to a protruded position at which the moving portion protrudes from the stowed position to a rear side in the vehicle front-and-rear direction; a control section that moves the moving portion from the stowed position to the protruded position in a case in which a speed of the vehicle exceeds a specific speed; and a light-emitting portion that is disposed at the moving portion and emits light to the rear side in the vehicle front-and-rear direction relative to the vehicle rear end portion.

Vehicle rear portion structure

In a vehicle to which a wheel well rear portion structure has been applied, a curved portion of an upper wall of a guide portion bulges obliquely toward the vehicle lower side as seen in a side view and is connected to a discharge portion. An air flow flowing in a flow channel flows along the upper wall due to the Coanda effect, so in the air flow along the curved portion the flow component heading toward the vehicle rear side becomes larger. The flow direction of the air flow discharged from the discharge portion substantially coincides with the flow direction of an air flow flowing in the space under the body of the vehicle. In a state in which a drop in the flow speed of the air flow discharged from the discharge portion is controlled, the air flow can be caused to smoothly merge with the air flow.

Wheel well rear portion structure

A first opening is formed in a vertical wall portion, and a second opening is formed in an underfloor. Airflow partially flows into the first opening and hits a rear face of an inclined wall portion, so as to be discharged from the second opening toward a vehicle rear side. The airflow that cannot enter the first opening flows toward the inclined wall portion along the vertical wall portion so that the airflow is drawn to the airflow flowing into the first opening. The airflow that cannot enter the first opening flows toward the vehicle rear side along the inclined wall portion. Detachment of the airflow from the inclined wall portion is restrained, and airflow flows toward the vehicle rear side along the underfloor of the vehicle. Air flowing from a side part of the vehicle into the rear wheel house restrains a decrease in steering stability.

Vehicle-body rear structure

In a vehicle to which a vehicle body front structure is applied, an opening portion is formed behind a rear end portion of an arch portion. The opening portion is held in communication with an air flow passage, and is opened backward with respect to the vehicle. Then, the air caused to flow into the air flow passage during traveling of the vehicle flows from a front side toward a rear side with respect to the vehicle, and is discharged from the opening portion backward with respect to the vehicle. Thus, the air current blown out from the air flow passage to an outside of the wheel house in a vehicle width direction via the wheel house is restrained from being produced. Therefore, the traveling wind flowing outside the wheel house in the vehicle width direction is restrained from hitting the air current.

Vehicle body front structure

It is a subject of the present invention to ensure foot space for an occupant and lower a side portion of a floor portion. A vehicle body lower portion structure () comprises: a rocker upper member () that configures an upper portion of a rocker () and has an upper wall portion (A) that extends in a vehicle width direction, an inner wall portion (B) that is positioned at a vehicle width direction inner side and a vehicle lower side with respect to the upper wall portion (A) and extends in a vehicle up-and-down direction, and a connecting wall portion (D) that interconnects a vehicle width direction inside end portion of the upper wall portion (A) and an upper end portion of the inner wall portion (B); a rocker lower member () that configures a lower portion of the rocker (); and a wire harness () that extends in a vehicle front-and-rear direction along the rocker (), with at least part (A) of the wire harness () being positioned, as seen in a vehicle front view, in a cross section formed by the connecting wall portion (D), an extension line (E) extending inward in the vehicle width direction from the upper wall portion (A), and an extension line (F) extending toward a vehicle upper side from the inner wall portion (B).

Vehicle body lower portion structure

A vehicle body structure has a floor panel upper; a rocker provided so as to extend in a vehicle longitudinal direction at a vehicle transverse direction outer side of the floor panel upper, and having a rocker upper and a rocker lower that are divided in a vehicle vertical direction; a floor reinforcement provided so as to extend in the vehicle longitudinal direction at a central portion between the rocker and a tunnel portion formed at a vehicle transverse direction central portion of the floor panel upper, and disposed at a vehicle rear side of a front side member; and an intermediate reinforcement lower provided so as to extend in the vehicle longitudinal direction between the rocker and the floor reinforcement, disposed at a vehicle lower side of the floor panel upper, and formed integrally with the rocker lower via a flange portion.
