An electric power tool includes a motor, an output shaft, a drive force transmission configured to reduce drive speed of the motor and transmit drive force of the motor to the output shaft; a trigger that can be pulled by a user; a rotation speed changing circuitry configured to change a rotation speed of the output shaft that corresponds to a maximum pulled amount of the trigger to a limited rotation speed that is lower than a maximum rotation speed of the output shaft in a non-limited rotation speed mode; and a rotation speed control circuitry configured to control a rotation speed of the motor in correspondence with a pulled amount of the trigger to obtain the rotation speed of the output shaft that is changed by the rotation speed changing circuitry.

Electric power tool

An impact rotary tool includes a motor, a hammer, an anvil, a sensor, a circuit board, and an isolator. The hammer is configured to receive rotational force around an axis from the motor and output striking rotational force which is obtained by converting part of the rotational force into striking force around the axis. The anvil to which a tip tool is to be attached is configured to rotate, together with the tip tool, around the axis in response to the striking rotational force received from the hammer. The sensor is disposed in a vicinity of the anvil and is configured to sense a change in a state of the anvil, the change being according to the striking rotational force. The circuit board is configured to receive a sensing result by the sensor. The isolator isolates contact portions of the hammer and the anvil from at least the circuit board.

Impact rotary tool

An electric power tool includes a bearing retainer that retains a bearing for supporting a motor shaft, a transmission mechanism that transmits a rotational output of a motor to a front-end tool and a rotating body attached to an end of the motor shaft. The bearing retainer includes an extension that extends in a direction of axial line from an end face position on the bearing. At least a part of the rotating body is provided in front of a rear end of the extension.

An electric power tool includes a motor, an output shaft, a drive force transmission configured to reduce drive speed of the motor and transmit drive force of the motor to the output shaft; a trigger that can be pulled by a user; a rotation speed changing circuitry configured to change a rotation speed of the output shaft that corresponds to a maximum pulled amount of the trigger to a limited rotation speed that is lower than a maximum rotation speed of the output shaft in a non-limited rotation speed mode; and a rotation speed control circuitry configured to control a rotation speed of the motor in correspondence with a pulled, amount of the trigger to obtain the rotation speed of the output shaft that is changed by the rotation speed changing circuitry.

A power tool that is capable of more reliably keeping a torque at a constant is provided. An adjustment member is provided with: an engagement hole that is detachably attached to the adjustment member, and serves as an engagement part that engages with a torque adjustment device that serves as a clutch handle for rotating the adjustment member; and a lid that is attached to an opening in such a manner as to cover the engagement hole.

Power tool

A power tool includes a motor, a drive unit driven by the motor, and a trigger switch and a forward-reverse switch each operable by a user. The trigger switch is switchable between an activation state and a deactivation state. The forward-reverse switch switches a motor rotation between forward and reverse. The power tool also includes a control unit that drives the motor based on operation of the trigger switch and allows switching of an operation mode of the power tool between first and second modes. In the first mode, the motor rotation is switched to that selected by the forward-reverse switch. In the second mode, when the activation state is switched to the deactivation state, the motor rotation is switched so that the motor is driven in a direction opposite to the present rotation direction when the trigger switch is activated next.

Power tool and controller

An electric power tool includes a motor having a drive shaft, a tool output shaft rotated by rotational force of the drive shaft, a clutch unit that connects or disconnects a torque transmission line between the drive shaft and the tool output shaft according to load torque of the tool output shaft, a load detector that outputs a load torque signal in accordance with the load torque of the tool output shaft, and a control unit that performs a rising detection mode, which detects rising of the load torque signal to stop rotation of the motor, and a falling detection mode, which detects falling of the load torque signal to stop rotation of the motor. The control unit selects the rising detection mode or the falling detection mode according to a usage condition signal indicating a usage condition of the electric power tool.

A power tool includes a power tool and a battery pack detachably attached to the power tool, the battery pack having two engaging portions to be mechanically coupled to the power tool and the power tool having engaged portions respectively corresponding to two engaging portions of the battery pack respectively. Each of engaging portions of the battery pack includes an insertion restricting portion and an attachment securing portion for allowing its corresponding engaged portion to be inserted only in a direction of pressing the attaching portion of the battery pack against the attached portion of the power tool, each of the attachment securing portions being coupled to its corresponding engaged portion. At least one of said at least two engaging portions further has a hook engaging portion which is selectively secured with an engaged portion moved from its corresponding insertion restricting portion to its corresponding attachment securing portion.

Power tool having a main body and a battery pack detachably attached to the main body

A rotary impact tool can be used in a work especially precision or finishing of fastening is important. The rotary impact tool comprises a rotary driving mechanism including a driving source for rotating a driving shaft, a hammer fixed on the driving shaft, an output shaft to which a driving force is applied by impact blow of the hammer, a torque setting unit used for setting a fastening torque, a processor for calculating fastening torque from impact blow of the hammer, a rotation speed setting unit used for setting rotation speed of the driving shaft, and a controller for rotating the driving shaft of the rotary driving mechanism in a rotation speed set in the rotation speed setting unit and for stopping rotation of the driving shaft of the rotary driving mechanism when the fastening torque calculated in the processor becomes equal to or larger than a reference value of fastening torque previously set in the torque setting unit.

Rotary impact tool

In a power fastening tool for fastening a fastening member such as a screw or a fastening member, malfunction that driving of a motor is stopped before the fastening member is fastened completely can be prevented. A fastening judger judges that the fastening operation is completed when a value of an estimated torque T for fastening the fastening member becomes larger than a predetermined lower limit value Tpreviously set by a user and a value of a torque variation ratio &#x394;&#x394;T varies from positive to negative. Thus, it is possible to prevent malfunction for stopping driving of a motor even when the value of the torque variation ratio &#x394;&#x394;T varies from positive to negative due to trouble before the vale of the estimated torque T becomes larger than the lower limit value T

Power fastening tool

In a power impact tool for fastening a fastening member, a torque for fastening the fastening member can be estimated without using a high-resolution sensor and a high-speed processor. The power impact tool comprises a rotation speed sensor for sensing a rotation speed of a driving shaft of a motor with using a rotation angle of the driving shaft, a rotation angle sensor for sensing a rotation angle of an output shaft to which a bit is fitted in a term between an impact of a hammer to next impact of the hammer, a torque estimator for calculating an impact energy with using an average rotation speed of the driving shaft and for calculating a value of estimated torque for fastening the fastening member which is given as a division of the impact energy by the rotation angle of the output shaft, a torque setter for setting a reference value of torque to be compared, and a controller for stopping the driving of the motor when the value of the estimated torque becomes equal to or larger than a predetermined reference value set by the torque setter.
