Loudspeaker

To make it possible to improve a low-tone reproducing ability with a simple structure in an acoustic device including speakers in a headrest. The acoustic device includes a core material of a closed structure functioning as a core of a headrest main body, acoustic speakersdisposed in the core material, and hollow headrest staysthat pierce through the core material. The headrest stayscirculate the air on the inside of the core material to the outer side via hollow sections.

Acoustic device

An object is to provide a sound collecting device and a method of controlling a sound collecting device with which it is possible to easily obtain audio of a speaking person with a high level of precision while keeping the number of component parts small and preventing the structure from becoming complicated. An audio processing unitjudges whether or not the current mode is an operation mode (a speech mode or a conversation mode) in which audio of an occupant of the vehicle serving as a speaking person is obtained (step SA). When the current mode is another operation mode (an audio playback mode or a head position measuring mode), the audio processing unitsets the directionality of a microphone array to be directed toward the outside of the occupant or to be non-directional (steps SA and SA) and obtains input audio of the microphone array. In contrast, when the current mode is an operation mode (the speech mode or the conversation mode) in which audio of the occupant is obtained, the audio processing unitarranges the directionality of the microphone array to be directed toward the occupant (step SA).

Provided are: a plurality of speakers; fiber padsprovided to the front surfaces of the speakers; a sound-insulating padprovided between the fiber pads; and a surface skinfor covering the speakers, the fiber pads, and the sound-insulating pad, the fiber padsbeing formed from an elastic material that has a three-dimensional-mesh structure therein, and the sound-insulating padbeing formed from an elastic material for minimizing the transmission of sound.

Headrest and vehicle seat with integrated speakers

To make it possible to provide an acoustic device in a headrest device such that a standard of a shock is satisfied and the performance of the acoustic device can be efficiently exhibited. In the headrest device, a shock resistant surface is formed in a core material of a headrest main body, an opening is formed in the shock resistant surface, and a non-contact type acoustic microphone is disposed on the inner side of the opening.
