An object of the invention is to provide a depressurizing valve mounted to a common rail for a fuel injection device, in which a direction of a connector for the depressurizing valve can be adjusted, without affecting an air gap and a sealing performance. The depressurizing valve has a valve unit and a coil unit which is detachably assembled to the valve unit by a mounting member, such as a retaining nut. A valve housing has an inside space, which is fluid tightly separated into first and second spaces by a connecting member, which is fluid tightly connected to the valve housing and a stator core. A valve body and a spring are arranged in the first space for closing a flow control port. A cylindrical coil is accommodated in the second space, such that the coil is rotatable with respect to the valve housing.

Depressurizing valve and fuel injection device

A solenoid valve includes a coil, a stator core, a valve member, a coil spring, and a stopper. The coil provides a magnetic field when the coil is energized. The stator core includes a receiving bore, wherein the stator core generates a magnetic attractive force when the coil is energized. The valve member is attracted toward the stator core due to the magnetic attractive force generated by the stator core. The coil spring is received in the receiving bore of the stator core, wherein the coil spring biases the valve member in an opposite direction opposite from the stator core. The stopper positions the coil spring such that an outer peripheral surface of the coil spring is separated from an inner peripheral surface of the receiving bore.

Solenoid valve

A solenoid drive apparatus for driving a driven member by a magnetic attractive force includes a tubular magnetic metallic body, a coil, a magnetic metallic plate, and a magnetic gasket. The tubular magnetic metallic body has an opening portion at one end. The coil is received in the body from the opening portion and provides a magnetic field when the coil is energized. The magnetic metallic plate closes the opening portion of the body. The magnetic gasket is held between the body and the plate.

Solenoid drive apparatus

A pushrod is slidably received in a slidably holding guide, which is formed separately from a valve body of a valve apparatus. A clearance is provided between an inner peripheral surface of a small diameter tube portion of the valve body and an outer peripheral surface of the guide. The clearance is provided to absorb deformation of the small diameter tube portion.

Valve apparatus

A vehicular automatic transmission (AT) hydraulic controller has an integrated valve. The integrated valve has a cylindrical cam shaft including convex and concave parts on the outer periphery thereof, and the integrated valve is connected to a motor for automatic control and a connecting part which is interlocked with an external gearshift operated by a driver. Hydraulic control of the integrated valve can be performed in two different ways, i.e., automatic control and manual control, and even if automatic control malfunctions due to an error, manual control can maintain the control of the AT and avoid any inconvenience. The structure of this integrated valve provides a high degree of design freedom and can implement a wide variety of AT functions. Accordingly, a light, compact and reliable AT equipped with both an automatic control mechanism and a manual control mechanism can be provided.

Hydraulic controller for automatic transmission having automatic manual

This invention provides a chemical cell equipped with a safety mechanism which can restrict an abnormal reaction of a cell and can prevent in advance gas explosion, etc., of the cell. The chemical cell 4010 comprises a cell reaction portion 4015, a positive pole terminal 4016 and a cell case 4041 functioning also as a negative pole terminal. A driving member 4021 responsive to a gas pressure or reaction heat at the time of the abnormal reaction includes a retention mechanism 4025 having a flexible member 4251 which cuts off a current and maintains this state. It also includes a gas discharge member. The driving member 4021 preferably short-circuits the positive pole terminal 4016 and the cell case 41 after the current is cut off, and preferably includes a valve member 4301 for closing a gas passage 4047 again after the gas is discharged (see FIG. 40 ).

Chemical cell

A pressure sensor includes a diaphragm having a magnetic film fixed to one side thereof. The diaphragm is arranged to displace depending on a pressure differential applied thereacross to change an inductance of a coil which is arranged close to the magnetic film with a predetermined gap therebetween. An alternating current is supplied to the coil to be modulated by the inductance of the coil so that the pressure differential across the diaphragm is converted into an electric signal. A monitored pressure is derived based on this converted electric signal.

A steering torque is transmitted from a steering wheel side rotary member to a steering shaft side rotary member through a plurality of elastic bodies, when a steering wheel is turned. The elastic bodies are provided around a rotational center of a steering shaft which bending parts. A relative rotation produced between the steering wheel side rotary member and the steering shaft side rotary member is detected by detecting coils, because the detecting coils detect the change of the reluctance of the magnetic circuit of the rotary members and the detecting coil.

An auxiliary steering control system in connection with an anti-skid control system for use in a motor vehicle with two parts of left and right wheels, the anti-skid control system being adapted to independently control braking pressures for at least one pair of left and right wheels and including a braking actuator for adjusting braking pressures to be applied to the pair of left and right wheels. The braking actuator is controlled so that the braking pressures therefor approach the target braking forces determined on the basis of the rotational speeds of the wheels. The steering control device includes a steering actuator for adjusting steering angles of the pair of left and right wheels in response to steering control signals from a steering angle control unit. The steering control unit determines the steering angles of the pair of left and right wheels on the basis of the difference between the braking pressures therefor and outputs the steering control signals thereto so that the pair of left and right wheels assume the determined steering angles.

A stepping motor unit includes a stepping motor of the type wherein the interior of the stepping motor is filled with an oil, a detector for detecting the temperature of the oil in the stepping motor, a device for varying an upper limiting value of the rotational speed of the stepping motor and an upper limiting value of the rotational acceleration of the stepping motor in view of a current viscous condition of the oil based on the temperature detected by the temperature detector, and a driver for driving the stepping motor at a rotational speed and a rotational acceleration which fall in ranges, respectively, not exceeding the upper limiting values. The stepping motor unit thus constructed has rapid and accurate response characteristics and is capable of operating reliably without falling out of step even when the environmental temperature varies in a very wide range. A rotary control valve incorporating such stepping motor unit is also disclosed.

Stepping motor unit and rotary control valve incorporating the same

The braking system comprising an input mechanism, such as a brake pedal or a brake lever, actuated by a vehicle operator during brake application. A sensor senses the pressure exerted on the brake pedal and delivers a first electrical signal in accordance with that pressure. The system also includes a source of brake fluid under a constant fluid pressure and pressure modulators in fluid communication with the source and the wheel cylinders. An electronic control unit responds to the first signal and delivers to the pressure modulators a second electrical signal proportional to the first signal to cause the pressure modulators to communicate to the wheel cylinders a fluid pressure proportional to the second signal to apply the brake with a braking force proportional to the applied pressure. The braking system also provides an anti-skid function, traction control function, and braking force proportioning function.

The hydraulic cylinder mechanism has a main piston which has a piston portion, two sub-pistons which is so located that the sub-pistons can hold the piston portion, control pressure chambers which are formed between the sub-piston and the piston portion, and holding pressure chambers which are formed at behind of the sub-piston. The hydraulic cylinder mechanism controls automotive rear wheel alignment when the main piston moves axially according to the pressure in the control pressure chambers and can maintain its neutral position when the pressure in the holding chamber is applied to the sub-piston so that holds the piston portion.
