A switching circuit for varying rotational speed of a motor includes a power supply line for connecting the motor to a power source so as to supply driving power to the motor. A parallel connecting circuit of an on-off switch and a short circuiting switch is provided in the power supply line, in such a manner that the driving power is continuously supplied to the motor when the short circuiting switch is on, while in the case that the short circuiting switch is off, the driving power is supplied to the motor during on of the on-off switch but is not supplied during off of the on-off switch. A control member is provided for operation by an operator for varying rotational speed of the motor. The control member is operative for turning on the short circuiting switch at the maximum amount of its operation. The switching circuit further includes an output element for producing an output signal corresponding to the amount of operation of the control member, a continuously conductive switch to be continuously kept on when the control member is operated between the maximum amount of operation and the amount slightly smaller than the maximum amount, and a control element connected to the output element and the continuously conductive switch for controlling the on-off switch.

This electric connector includes a housing formed with a single row of holes for receiving male terminals and ends of sheathed wires connected thereto, and further formed with means for, if and when two of the housings are laid together with their two single rows of holes substantially parallel, locating them with respect to mutual sliding movement. Thereby, if it is desired to provide only a single row type connector, a single one of such housings is used by itself; but, if it is desired to provide a multiple row type connector, then two or more of such housings are laid together with their single rows of holes substantially parallel, and now the locating means keeps them from undergoing mutual sliding. Optionally, the connector can further include means such as a clip for holding together these several housings.

A connector is disclosed for connecting a main housing with a fixed base. The housing has an engagement aperture formed on its side, and includes a lock mechanism having a catch piece formed with a bent intermediate portion, a protruding pressable portion, a protruding engaging portion formed with a catch shape for engaging with a fixed base, and an elastic tongue removable engaged into the aperture so as elastically to support the catch piece on the side of the housing with its bent portion pressing thereagainst and acting as a fulcrum, with the tongue biasing the protruding pressable portion in the direction away from the housing and the protruding engaging portion in the direction towards the housing.
