A method, a system, a server, and a terminal for processing message are described. The method includes the steps as follows. A notification message for requesting to establish a session sent by a session requester is received, in which the notification message carries session management information related to the session. The session management information of the session in the notification message is acquired, and a session connection with the session requester is initiated according to the session management information. Alternatively, the notification message is acknowledged according to the session management information, a reply message is generated according to an acknowledgement result, and the reply message is sent to the session requester. A Data Synchronization (DS)/Device Management (DM) server determines problems of the sent notification message according to the information returned from the terminal, so as to perform the further processing, thereby preventing the DS or DM server from blindly and repeatedly sending the notification message when not being informed that a session connection is established by a DS or DM terminal.

A method for access control in device management includes: by a terminal, receiving a command that includes a node identifier of a target ID from a server; judging whether the server rights meet preset rights; running the command when the server rights meet the preset rights and the server has an access right (ACL) of the target node identified by the node identifier. A method and an apparatus for determining variable dependency are disclosed. In the present invention, a variable dependency is determined in advance arbitrarily; partial variables are selected from the current variable dependency, and a legitimate superior variable set is re-selected for each of the partial variables, and the new variable dependency is stored only if it meets the criterion of acceptance; when the termination criterion for establishing variable dependency is met, the optimal variable dependency is determined from all variable dependencies. Because the existing variable dependency is not taken as a reference when the new variable dependency is created, the new variable dependency is not misled by the existing variable dependency, and the time for finding the globally optimal variable dependency can be shortened.
