A laser inspection system is provided. A laser source emits a laser with a first spectrum and the laser is transmitted by a first optical fiber. A gain optical fiber doped with special ions is connected to the first optical fiber, and a light detector is provided around the gain optical fiber. When the laser with the first spectrum passes through the gain optical fiber, the gain optical fiber absorbs part of the energy level of the laser with the first spectrum, so that the laser with the first spectrum is converted to generate light with a second spectrum based on the frequency conversion phenomenon. The light detector detects the intensity of the light with the second spectrum, so that the power of the laser source can be obtained.

Laser inspection system

A laser protection system includes a high-power laser source, an optical diffuser, a photo detector, a signal-processing device, and a control module. The high-power laser source generates a first laser light beam, and the optical diffuser attenuates a laser power of the first laser light beam to form a second laser light beam. The photo detector obtains an optical detection signal from the second laser light beam. The signal-processing device includes a signal conversion module, a processor, and an encoder. The signal conversion module transforms the optical detection signal into a measurement data eigenvalue. The encoder encodes the measurement data eigenvalue into a measured encoded data, and the setting data eigenvalue into a set encoded data. The control module evaluates the set encoded data and the measured encoded data to determine whether or not the high-power laser source needs to be stopped.

Power-measuring protection method and laser protection system

A laser driver device is provided, which includes a control circuit, a driver circuit and a feedback circuit. The control circuit receives setup data and convert the setup data into a setup signal. The driver circuit receives the setup signal and generates a drive current according to the setup signal to drive a laser light source. The feedback circuit receives the setup data and the feedback signal of the laser light source and compares the setup data with the feedback signal to generate an adjust signal. The driver circuit receives the adjust signal and adjusts the drive current according to the adjust signal.

Laser driver and method for driving laser source thereof

The system for stabilizing wavelength of LED (light emitting diode) radiation in backlight module of the LCD (liquid crystal display) comprises two photodiodes, a plurality of LEDs, a microprocessor unit (MCU) and a driver circuit, wherein two photodiodes have different photo sensitivities in response different wavelengths. A target value, associated with a ration of photo sensitivities of the two photodiodes under two different wavelength radiations, is stored to the MCU as a referred value. Thus, another wavelength (or wavelength variation) of LED radiation is derived by comparing another target value with the referred value. The MCU determines a correction constant based on a color match function of the derived wavelength, and outputs a compensation signal to compensate LED, wherein the compensation signal is equal to multiplication of the correction constant and an original light intensity compensation signal for compensating light intensity loss of the LED.
