The present invention relates to a local communication wireless network system and the method thereof. When the wireless base station is not connected with the evolved packet core (EPC) server, the wireless base station can emulate the EPC server. The electronic devices connected to the wireless base station can connect to the emulated EPC server. The client unit of the wireless base station can collect the identification information of the electronic devices connected to the wireless base station, build an identification list, and send the identification list to the electronic devices connected to the wireless base station. Thereby, the electronic devices can send messages or perform digital voice or video calls to other electronic devices according to the identification list.

Local communication wireless network system and method thereof

The present invention relates to an offline-operable wireless network system and the method for operating the same. When a wireless base station is not connected to the evolved packet core (EPC) server, the wireless base station will emulate the EPC server. Thereby, the electronic device connected with the wireless base station can be connected to the emulated EPC server, so that the wireless network functions still can be applied in the offline state and a wireless local area network can be further built.

Offline-operable wireless network system and method for operating the same

A frequency compensation device, applicable to a user equipment (UE) communicating with a first base station (BS), includes a receiving module and a transmitting module. The receiving module has an offset detection unit for performing following steps. A first signal from the first BS at a first receiving frequency is received. A first transmitting frequency where the first BS transmits the at least one first signal is read. A difference between the first transmitting frequency and the first receiving frequency is calculated and used as a frequency difference. The transmitting module is for performing following steps. A BS parameter corresponding to the first BS is obtained. A frequency compensation value according to the BS parameter is calculated. A second transmitting frequency according to the frequency compensation value corresponding to the first BS is compensated. A second signal to the first BS at the compensated second transmitting frequency is sent.

A Base Station (BS) communication module and a Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) communication module are adapted to implement a method for selecting a Modulation and Coding Scheme (MCS). The method for selecting an MCS includes the following steps: receiving a plurality of first packets in a first period, and calculating a Packet Error Rate (PER); determining whether the PER is greater than an error rate threshold; and when the PER is greater than the error rate threshold, performing the following steps: obtaining a Carrier to Interference plus Noise Ratio (CINR) return value; performing an adjusting procedure to obtain a CINR adjustment value; calculating an actual return value according to the CINR return value and the CINR adjustment value; and selecting one of a plurality of MCSs according to the actual return value.
