A sound source tracking method adapted to an ongoing video conference comprising: obtaining a streaming signal of the video conference from an internet; performing a video conference procedure to obtain an audio signal from the streaming signal and send the audio signal to a speaker; performing an audio tracking procedure to obtain the audio signal outputted from the video conference procedure to the communication device and send the audio signal to a sound source tracking camera; playing the audio signal to generate a far-end sound; recording a field sound comprising at least one of the far-end sound and a local-end sound; and performing a comparing procedure to determine a shooting direction of the sound source tracking camera, wherein the shooting direction is adjusted so as not to shoot the speaker when a similarity of the far-end sound and the audio signal is greater than a threshold.

Sound source tracking system and method thereof

A video conferencing system is provided, which includes at least one camera device, a microphone array device, a sound output device, and a processor. The processor is configured to: receive multiple image signals converted by an image shot by the at least one camera device, and receive multiple voice signals converted from multiple voices captured from the microphone array device; and select at least one sound source signal corresponding to multiple personnel positions from the multiple sound signals according to the image signal and the multiple voice signals, so as to transmit at least one sound source signal corresponding to the multiple personnel positions to the sound output device, where the sound output device converts at least one sound source signal into sound for play. In addition, a video conferencing method is also disclosed herein.

Video conferencing system and method thereof

An extension apparatus for a universal serial bus (USB) interface includes a transmitting device, a receiving device and an electrical signal network cable. The transmitting device includes the following elements: a first packet-processing unit to receive a first interface packet and generate an original data accordingly, a first buffering unit to temporarily store the original data, and a first data-converting unit to generate and output a network packet signal based on the original data. The receiving device includes the following elements: a second data-converting unit to receive the network packet signal and generate the original data accordingly, a second buffering unit to temporarily store the original data, and a second packet-processing unit to receive the original data and generate the first interface packet. The electrical signal network cable is electrically coupled between the transmitting device and the receiving device to transmit the network packet signal.

Extension apparatus for universal serial bus interface

A display allocation method is disclosed herein. The display allocation method is applied to a display in a conference meeting and comprises the following steps: allocating a first, a second and a third image block on the display, in which sizes of the first and the second image block are larger than size of the third image block; detecting an effective sound of a first candidate video corresponding to the third image block to identify whether the first candidate video is effective; setting one of the first and the second image block as a primary image block, and setting another one of the first and the second image block as a secondary image block, in which the secondary image block includes a secondary video; and allocating the first candidate video and the secondary video to the secondary and the third image block respectively if the first candidate video is effective.
