A method for test strip recognition and interpretation is provided. The method includes the following steps. A plurality of test strips are provided, wherein the test strips are configured to examine a plurality of physiologic parameters respectively, and the test strips respectively have a plurality of color characteristics corresponding to the physiologic parameters respectively. A plurality of physiologic parameter examinations are performed to the corresponding test strips respectively, so as to obtain a plurality of test reactions. An image of the test strips is captured. The color characteristics and the test reactions of the test strips are obtained according to the image. The physiologic parameters examined by the test strips respectively are obtained according to the color characteristics. The physiologic parameters examined by the test strips are matched with the test reactions to obtain a plurality of physiologic parameter examination results.

A system for physiologic parameter examination includes a housing and a test-strip tray. The housing includes a carrying cavity disposed on a top surface of the housing and including a window. The carrying cavity is configured to receive a portable electronic device having an image-capturing component. The image-capturing component corresponds to the window. The test-strip tray is movably disposed in the housing and located below the carrying cavity. The test-strip tray is configured to carry at least one test strip. The image-capturing component is adapted to capture a test reaction of the test strip through the window. A method of operating a handheld electronic device and a touch interface apparatus and a storage medium using the same are provided. In this method, an operating interface displayed on a touch screen of the handheld electronic device is used to operate a function module of the handheld electronic device. First, the function module of the handheld electronic device is activated to display a user interface corresponding to the function module on the touch screen. Next, an operating function of the function module is activated, so as to display a corresponding operating interface on the touch screen. In the meantime, the user interface of the function module is reduced simultaneously and displayed on an area of the touch screen excluding the operating interface. Accordingly, a convenient operating interface is provided for the user to operate while the content of original displayed frame remains.

An operating mode switching method for a electronic device is disclosed. The operating mode switching method includes receiving a notification message via a proximity-based wireless communication technology; switching from an initial operating mode to an environmental operating mode corresponding to the notification message; and switching from the target operating mode back to the initial operating mode when not effectively receiving an environmental signal corresponding to the notification message via a short-ranged wireless communication technology.

A method for setting a voice tag is provided, which comprises the following steps. First, counting a number of phone calls performed between a user and a contact person. If the number of phone calls exceeds a predetermined times or a voice dialing performed by the user is failed before calling to the contact person within a predetermined duration, the user is inquired whether or not to set a voice tag corresponding to the contact person after the phone call is complete. If the user decides to set the voice tag, a voice training procedure is executed for setting the voice tag corresponding to the contact person.

An AC adapter including an AC-side plug module and a DC-side connector module coupled to each other is provided. A first voltage-reducing element and a relay are electrically coupled to an AC power supply. An AC-to-DC converter is electrically coupled to the relay. The DC-side connector module has a mechanical switch element electrically coupled to the relay and the first voltage-reducing element. When the DC-side connector module is connected to a device socket, the mechanical switch element is turned on and the relay is enabled, so that the electrical power of the AC power supply is transmitted to the AC-to-DC converter through the enabled relay. When the DC-side connector module is disconnected from the device socket, the mechanical switch element is turned off and the relay is disabled, so that the electrical power of the AC power supply is not transmitted to the AC-to-DC converter.
