A liquid crystal display panel is disclosed, which includes: a first substrate with a pixel electrode region and a non-pixel electrode region; a thin film transistor unit disposed on the first substrate a first alignment layer disposed on the pixel electrode region and the non-pixel electrode region; and a plurality of color filter units disposed between the first substrate and the first alignment layer, wherein one of the color filter units includes a color filter opening to expose a part of a drain electrode of the thin film transistor unit. Herein, a region of the pixel electrode without overlapping the thin film transistor unit is defined as a non-overlapping region, the first alignment layer corresponding to the non-overlapping region has a first thickness, the first alignment layer corresponding to the color filter opening has a second thickness, and the second thickness is greater than the first thickness.

Liquid crystal display panel and liquid crystal display device containing the same

A display panel and a display device are provided. The display panel includes a first substrate having a display region and a non-display region, a second substrate disposed opposite to the first substrate, at least a data line and at least a scan line disposed in the display region, a liquid crystal layer, a plurality of spacers and a seal disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, a light shielding layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, and including a light transmitting portion and a light shielding portion, and an alignment layer and a plurality of particles disposed on the light transmitting portion and the light shielding portion. A first surface roughness corresponding to the light transmitting portion of the non-display region is greater than a second surface roughness corresponding to the light shielding portion of the non-display region.

Display panel and display device

A display module includes a light source and a display unit. The light source has an emission spectrum having maximum peak values corresponding to a first maximum peak wavelength and a second maximum peak wavelength. The display unit includes a green filter layer having a transmittance spectrum. The emission spectrum and the transmittance spectrum have a right cross-point and a left cross-point. A product of an emission intensity value of the emission spectrum corresponding to the right cross-point and a transmittance intensity value of the transmittance spectrum corresponding to the right cross-point is a first product value. A product of an emission intensity value of the emission spectrum corresponding to the left cross-point and a transmittance intensity value of the transmittance spectrum corresponding to the left cross-point is a second product value. A ratio of the first product value to the second product value is less than 20%.

Display module

A liquid crystal display panel and a liquid crystal display device containing the same are disclosed. The liquid crystal display panel of the present invention comprises: a first substrate with a pixel electrode region and a non-pixel electrode region; a second substrate opposite to the first substrate; a first alignment layer disposed on the pixel electrode region and the non-pixel electrode region; and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. Herein, the first alignment layer on the pixel electrode region has a first thickness, that on the non-pixel electrode region has a second thickness, and the first thickness is larger than the second thickness.

The invention provides a liquid crystal display (LCD) device comprising a first substrate, a first electrode, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer, a main spacer and an auxiliary spacer. The first electrode is disposed on the first substrate and has a first thickness and a second thickness, wherein the first thickness is smaller than the second thickness. The second substrate and the first substrate are disposed oppositely. The liquid crystal layer is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The main spacer is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate and corresponding to a part of the first electrode having the first thickness. The auxiliary spacer is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate and corresponding to a part of the first electrode having the second thickness.

LCD device and manufacturing method thereof

A display device is provided. The display device includes a display panel. The display panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate, at least a data line, at least a scan line, a wiring area, a liquid crystal layer, an alignment layer, a plurality of spacers, a seal, and a plurality of agglomerate polymer particles formed on the alignment layer. The first substrate has at least a pixel area having a pixel, the data line and the scan line intersected for defining the pixel area. The liquid crystal layer, the alignment layer, and the spacers are disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The wiring area is located outside the pixel area. The distribution density of the agglomerate polymer particles located corresponding to at least a portion of the wiring area is higher than the distribution density of those located corresponding to the pixel area.

Display device

A display module having a light source includes a display unit. The display unit includes a first substrate, a second substrate opposite to the first substrate, a display medium and a green filter layer. The display medium is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The green filter layer is disposed on the first substrate or the second substrate. When the wavelength of the light is between 380 nm and 780 nm, the spectrum of the light source passing through the green filter layer corresponds to a first energy. When the wavelength of the light is between interval of 660 and 780 nm, the spectrum of the light source passing through the green filter layer corresponds to a second energy. The ratio of the second energy to the first energy is less than 2%.

Display module having a light source

A multi-domain LCD panel includes data lines, scan lines and pixels. Each pixel includes first and second sub-pixels respectively having first and second storage capacitors. A first data switch is selectively coupled to a first terminal of the first capacitor and one of the data lines. A second data switch is selectively coupled to a first terminal of the second capacitor and one of the data lines. First and second bias lines are respectively coupled to second terminals of the first and second capacitors. When a corresponding scan line is enabled, the first and second data switches turn on such that a signal on the data line is transmitted to the first and second sub-pixels. After the scan line is disabled, levels of the first and second bias lines are changed such that pixel voltages of the first and second sub-pixels differ from each other.
