This invention relates to a sealing apparatus, system and method for use in a well pipe. The apparatus has a mandrel arranged around a center axis through the apparatus, a radially movable gripping device arranged around the mandrel, a radially movable packer element arranged around the mandrel, and an axially movable activation device designed to set up axial forces for activating the apparatus. The apparatus also includes a radially movable centralizer arranged around the mandrel for centring the apparatus. The activation device being operatively connected to the gripping device, the packer element and the centralizer for the respective activation and radial movement of each, via power transmission of axial forces, between retracted, passive positions and expanded, active positions relative to the center axis of the apparatus.

This invention relates to an expansion-control device (), a piping tool (), a method and uses for a packer body () on a mandrel () with a supporting ring () arranged adjacent to an end () of the packer body (). The expansion-control device () includes a packer-control element () for positioning adjacent to the supporting ring () and for radial movement relative to the mandrel (); and a power-transmission body () connected to the packer-control element () for the transmission of activating power thereto. What is particular is that the power-transmission body () includes a lever body () with a fulcrum portion (), and a lever arm () projecting radially from the fulcrum portion (); the free end of the lever arm () being connected to the packer-control element (); the lever body () being rotatable around a rotational axis () through said fulcrum portion (); and the power-transmission body () including a torque-supplying device () to which the lever body () is operatively connected for the supply of torque to the lever body (), and for the rotation of the lever body () around the rotational axis ().
