The invention relates to a fillable twist cap closure for receiving and film-sealing a liquid or pourable filling in the interior of the closure and for emptying out the filling purely by rotating the twist cap (). The closure consist of a receiving part () which is screwed onto the threaded connection of a container and which comprises a cylinder () that is open at the bottom, said cylinder () being film-sealed at the bottom, and a cup () that can be introduced headfirst into the cylinder (). All plastic parts (-) are made of a steam-absorbing polymer, and piercing and cutting teeth () which extend in the axial direction are molded on the lower edge of the cup (). Guide means () on the outside of the cup () interact with guide means () on the twist cap (). When the twist cap () is rotated, an axial movement of the cup () is first produced in order to pierce the film () on the receiving part (). Upon a further rotation, a purely horizontal rotation is then produced in order to cut open the film () along the film circumference by less than 360&#xb0;. Finally, the cup () is moved again axially downwards in order to fold open the cut film (), whereby the contents of the cup fall downwards.

The fillable closure is used to trigger the emptying of a capsule that can be inserted in the closure and filled separately. The closure consists of a closing cap which can be attached to the neck of a container and in which a separately fillable capsule can be inserted in the closed state from beneath. The region above the inserted capsule on the closing cap forms a push button. A downwardly projecting protuberance is molded on the lower face. The protuberance abuts against the inserted capsule. Using pressure from above, the push button can be pressed to deform an initially convex shape as seen from above into a concave shape, the protuberance pushing the upper face of the capsule and the content thereof downward. A film, which forms the lower face of the capsule, is thus placed under tensile stress such that it breaks or bursts along weakened lines.

The present application provides an ingredient release spout with an ingredient therein for use on a container. The ingredient release spout may include a cap with the ingredient therein and a nozzle. The cap may include a diaphragm with a capsule insert extending therefrom. The nozzle may include a cutting device therein such that rotating the cap pulls the diaphragm and the capsule insert towards the cutting device.

The push-button dispenser with compressed-gas capsule () for bottles () consists of a head which can be screwed onto the bottle () and have a lateral pouring channel (), a push-button () on its upper side and downwardly projecting suction tube (). The latter is intended to extend as far as the base of the bottle () which is to be fitted with the dispenser, and it opens out at the top into a valve device in the head. This valve device has a regulating means () which can be moved axially in relation to the bottle () and is biased in the closing direction by a spring (), and can be opened by manual pressure being applied to the push-button () from above. This reduces pressure in the interior of the suction tube () to ambient pressure, as a result of which liquid is expelled from the bottle (), by way of the internal pressure prevailing in the bottle (), out of the lower mouth opening of the suction tube () via the pouring channel (). As a special feature, the dispenser is configured as a single-piece housing () with inner housing (), which contains all the other elements of the dispenser, or bears the same externally.

Push-button dispenser with compressed-gas capsule for beverage bottles

A fillable closure is used to initiate emptying of a separately fillable capsule molded into this closure. The capsule is made oxygen-impermeable on the inside or outside with a vapor-deposited layer of silicon dioxide or metal. The volume of the capsule can be reduced through pressurization from the top, through deformation of its side walls, for cutting or rupturing a sealing foil. The capsule has an asymmetric push button with a pusher surface, a deformable front and side wall and a stable rear wall. The upper end of the rear wall forms a stationary edge, on which the pusher surface can be pivoted downward through deformation of the front and side wall. On the bottom of the pusher surface, a triangle-shaped blade is formed, which ends in a tip, and its triangle edge forming a cutting edge for piercing and cutting the sealing foil on the bottom of the capsule.

The push-button dispenser for bottles with carbonated beverages as a head () which can be screwed onto a bottle and has a lateral pouring channel () and a push-button () on its upper side. A suction tube () projects downwards, this tube being intended to extend down as far as the base of the bottle () to be fitted with the dispenser. This suction tube opens out at the top into a valve device in the head (), this valve device having a regulating means () which can be moved axially in relation to the bottle () and is biased in the closing direction by a spring (). In order for the regulating means to be opened, pressure is applied to the push-button () from above, and therefore the pressure in the interior of the suction tube () is reduced to ambient pressure. This causes liquid to be expelled from the bottle, by way of the internal pressure prevailing in the bottle, out of the lower mouth opening of the suction tube () via the pouring channel (). As a special feature, the suction tube () is produced from an elastomeric plastics material and its outer cross section and inner cross section are configured such that, with the internal pressure reduced to ambient pressure, in relation to the increased pressure prevailing from outside, it can have its throughflow cross section narrowed by deformation. This means that, despite the pressure in the bottle gradually decreasing, the amount of liquid which flows out per unit of time is kept more or less constant. The push-button dispenser makes it possible for bottles with carbonated beverages to be, for all practical purposes, completely emptied in an extremely convenient and reliable manner, in the upright or even horizontal position, just at the push of a button.

The fillable closure with a triggering pushbutton comprises a filler neck () that is to be screwed onto or joined to a container neck () as well as a closure cap () which is associated to the filler neck () and can be joined, pivoted and snapped-on the filler neck () by means of a hinge connection. A separately fillable container () can be inserted into the filler neck (), the container being closed at the bottom with a sealing foil () that can be pierced or cut open. The closure cap () comprises a cap cover as a pusher disc (), which can be pressed downward in the axial direction while deforming. By pressing the cap cover downward on the container () inserted in the filler neck or on a rigid opening element accommodated therein, the opening element can be pressed downward so that the sealing foil () of the container () can be pierced and cut open.

The closure includes a rotary dispenser cap (), and is used for metering of a component in the content of a so-equipped mixing vessel () before use. It contains a separately filled folding container () which is held on its lower side by resilient spacer elements () over stationary piercing teeth () and which is pusable downword by means of rotating the rotary dispenser cap () which will screw down the press ring () and press the container () over the piercing teeth (). The folding container () is thereby torn open. By further screwing down of the pressing ring (), the folding container () is being squeezed and pressed out, so that its contents are mixed in the underlying container ().

Closure for the metered addition of a component

A closure device for addition of a liquid substance separately packaged therein into an associated container containing a gas release liquid includes a connector sleeve and a twist cap fitting thereon. The connector sleeve holds a cup inside with the cup bottom extending into the container connector. The cup includes therein a substance container containing the liquid substance, disposed above a piercing and cutting mechanism having upwardly directed cutting tips and a downward arbor, and the cup has an opening at the bottom closed by the arbor. When the twist cap is rotated in the loosening direction, the piercing and cutting mechanism is moved upward, causing piercing of the substance container, and exposing the opening thereby pressure compensation occurs between the cup and container. Further loosening of twist cap causes pressure drop in the container, and the liquid substance is injected through the opening of the cup into the container.

An ingredient release spout. The ingredient release spout may include a cap, an ingredient capsule separate from the cap, a capsule nest with the ingredient capsule therein, and a base. The capsule nest and the ingredient capsule being separate such that the capsule nest is engageable with the cap.

The neck closure has a wedge-shaped hollow neck with lips formed on the front wedge edge by converging wedge surfaces, the lips being connected to form a one-piece closed lip by a thin section, and having a cover cap that can be placed over the neck. When the cover cap is in place, the front region of the wedge-shaped neck is held in a position that has been rotated through at least 5 DEG in a clockwise direction, viewed from above, in relation to its normal unstressed position, as a result of the inner moulding of the cover cap. When the cover cap is rotated anti-clockwise, from this closed position, force is only applied to the front wedge edge region of the neck by pressure surfaces projecting from the inner face of the cover cap at diametrically opposed points on said front wedge edge region.

A spout for an associated container for dispensing a substance into the container. The spout may include a cap, a capsule that can be filled and sealed with a sealing layer, and a nozzle that can be screwed onto the container and carries a piercing device protruding therein such that the sealing layer of the capsule is pierced by the piercing device upon the turning of the cap.

The plastic closure consists of a rotating cap () with a sectoral pouring hole and with a slide () guided on its under side in such a way as to be capable of being displaced in a translational manner in relation to the pouring hole. The slide exhibits a downward-projecting cam on its under side. Lying beneath the slide () is a gate cap (). Also present in its cover () is a sectoral pouring hole and behind it additionally a groove as a gate guide for the cam on the slide (). The gate cap () is installed in a stationary manner on a bottle neck or a container spout. If the rotating cap () is caused to rotate relative to the gate cap (), the cam of the slide will be guided along the gate guide and will pull the slide () into the open position, whereas rotation in the opposite direction will cause the slide () to be displaced back into the closed position.

The liquid-containing bag is produced integrally from two sheets () which are welded to on another along the edge region (), and the bag forms two chambers () which are separated from one another by a separating strip (). A drinking or dispensing spout () is welded with sealing action in the separating strip (), in which case this connects the two chambers () in the open state, the one bag chamber () being intended for receiving the liquid, while the other bag chamber (), as a protective chamber, encompasses the outer spout end () and encloses the same with sealing action.

The invention serves to simultaneously pour out two separate liquids with a specified quantitative ratio from a container. To this end, a separate container is located inside said container. The container closure forms a mouth cap (). This tapers upward conically into a straight concentric spout () with an interior space (). A larger, closeable spout neck () having a projection () that radially projects at the bottom is placed concentrically around the straight spout () of the mouth cap (). This projection () is supported with supporting braces () an the shoulder () formed by the conical taper. A flow opening (), which encircles up to the supporting braces (), is left open between the shoulder () and the inside edge () of the projection () and of the larger spout neck (). The supporting braces () and the radial projection () are each passed through by a borehole () that communicate with the inside of the mouth cap () and with the space () outside the larger spout neck (). When the container is tilted, the separate contents are poured out with a specified ratio.
