A radiation detector, particularly for a computed tomography apparatus, has a scintillator as well as a photodiode array allocated thereto, these being connected to measuring electronics via an electrical connection. A transparent film with interconnects is arranged between the scintillator and the photodiode array.

A computed tomography apparatus has an apparatus that rotates during the operation off the CT apparatus, and except for a detector system for the detection of measurement data, all components that are necessary for the generation of image data from the measurement data are arranged on this apparatus part. A reduced data transmission rate results therefrom given the data transmission from the rotating apparatus part to a stationary apparatus part, with the consequence that the outlay that is expended in conjunction with the data transmission is reduced.

An x-ray apparatus has a mounting member, an x-ray source carrier arranged at the mounting member with an x-ray source arranged therein and an x-ray detector carrier with an x-ray detector arranged therein, wherein the x-ray source must be exactly adjusted relative to the x-ray detector within an overall tolerance for a proper operation of the x-ray arrangement. A source tolerance, a detector tolerance, a source carrier tolerance and a detector carrier tolerance are provided, with the sum of these tolerances of the assemblies being no larger than the overall tolerance.

A medical system has at least one projection surface onto which a projection unit projects of operating elements. The system is controlled by detecting movements of a hand, preferably a finger, of an operator on the projection surface. A system for transmitting data between a rotating part and a stationary part, such as is suitable for use in a computer tomography apparatus, has a wiper ring assembly and a number of electronic components disposed on the rotating part from which data is to be transmitted with a minimum of disturbance to the stationary part. A common power supply is provided on one of the stationary part or the rotating part, which powers all components. This common power supply is connected to the components on the other part via a further wiper ring assembly, or via further wiper ring assemblies.

A measurement system unit for a tomography computer in which individual detectors are connected with corresponding channel electronic systems directly, that is, without the need for a cable. For this purpose, a carrier plate is provided, on one side of which the individual detectors are mounted, and on the other side of which are mounted a series of electronic boards. Each of the electronic boards carries the channel electronic system of the detector that is located opposite to it. On the carrier plate there can be fastened a printed circuit board which partially covers it. The electronic boards are connected mechanically and electrically with the carrier plate and mechanically and electrically with the printed circuit board.
