A console for supplying medical-technical devices in a treatment room has a support frame and several connectors or sockets for medical-technical supply or for withdrawal of gases and/or electrical supply currents, as well as for providing electronic communication paths for medical-technical end devices. The console can incorporate an audio playback system integrated in the support frame for filling the treatment room with predetermined soothing or therapeutic sounds. The support system may be adapted for being mounted to or suspended from a ceiling mount in a treatment room, and can have a support frame having an integrated and medically approved audio playback system.

Support or supply system for medical devices

A carry system or a medical ceiling support for carrying or supporting medical-technical devices in a hospital treatment room. The ceiling support is provided with at least one extension or arm arranged substantially horizontally and at least one supporting column; at least one pivot joint and/or at least one lifting and lowering device; a support head mounted at the extension or arm for reception of the medical-technical devices; and an operating aid with at least one operating element for releasing or operating a respective brake in the at least one pivot joint or for operating the at least one lifting and lowering device. The ceiling support is arranged for generation of a feedback or back coupling which identifies or characterizes the respective brake or lifting and lowering device operated by the operating aid for a user locally at the support.

A rotatable electrical coupling device incorporates a first connector having a first electrical contact member adapted to conduct or transmit a high-frequency and/or high-speed data signal, and a second connector having a second electrical contact member adapted to conduct or transmit a high-frequency and/or high-speed data signal. The second connector is configured to be coupled with the first connector for substantially free or unimpeded rotation about an axis (X) relative to the first connector, the first and second electrical contact members being configured to engage one another and to maintain uninterrupted electrical contact throughout a relative rotational movement between the first and second connectors in a coupled state.

Rotatable electrical coupling device

A rotatable electrical coupling comprising a male connector having at least one electrical contact member for conducting or transmitting a supply current or a low-frequency control signal, and a further electrical contact member for conducting or transmitting a high-frequency and/or a high-speed data signal.
