An optical system projecting onto an image plane an object that is disposed at infinity by an intermediate image. The optical system includes a front group and a relay optic, each including a plurality of lenses, the intermediate image disposed between the front group and the relay optic. The optical system being configured as the object lying at infinity with at least two switchable and/or zoomable fields of view, the fields of view being imaged into the image plane. The front group including at least three lenses successively disposed towards the image plane. A first one of the lenses including of Ge, at least a second of the lenses including of ZnSe, and at least a third of the lenses including of either MgF2, CaF2 or MgO.

Optical system

The invention relates to a line camera for imaging object strips on photosensitive detector lines, having an objective producing a line image of an object strip, having a ray deflecting system situated at the site of the line image by which the line image is divided into adjacent image sections, in such a manner that paths of the rays pertaining to adjacent image sections are deflected into respective different directions in space. One optical relay system respectively is optically arranged behind each image section for the imaging of the respective image section on its own respective detector line. The total number of optical relay systems is divided into at least two groups, each group being assigned to a different direction in space. The optical relay systems of each individual group image the image sections assigned to them in a respective joint focal plane on their respective own detector lines, which, in the respective focal plane, are arranged above one another in a line directed parallel with respect to the line image. One aperture is arranged respectively between each detector line and the optical relay system assigned to it.

Line camera for imaging object strips on photosensitive detector lines

A compact, lightweight, yet sturdy imaging spectrometer, especially for use in satellites, flying bodies and the like, has elliptical mirrors for its objective or lens, for its collimator, and for its imager. The collimator and imager are formed by the same mirrors which reflect the beam twice. The optical arrangement of the objective or lens, the collimator, and the imager is such that any bending of an object strip by a diffraction lattice or grid is compensated. Such a spectrometer is usable for a wide field and wide spectral range, including the non-visible range.
