A color photographic recording material containing yellow couplers corresponding to the following formula is distinguished during chromogenic development by high sensitivity, steep gradation and high color density (even where development is carried out in the absence of benzyl alcohol). Silver halide developer compounds containing amino groups and attached in the form of a salt to ion exchangers are embedded in layers of photographic recording material comprising at least one silver halide emulsion layer.
