A method for authenticating a mobile identity (ID) is provided. The mobile ID is provided on an end device of a user. Personal information about the user is first brought into anonymized form via a one-way function known to the end device of the user and to a first entity and transmitted with a single mobile ID certificate to the first entity. A communication exchange between the end device of the user and the first entity is henceforth identified by this mobile ID certificate. At a later point in time, the user is provided a permission option to transmit the personal information in non-anonymized form to the first entity. The first entity uses the then transmitted non-anonymized personal information to check its anonymized form.

Authenticating a mobile id via hash values

Verification of true authorship on the basis of digital watermarks is described. The digital watermark can be provided with the proof of identity id and/or with the hash value h(m) of the document and/or with a time value t.

Method for generating digital watermarks for electronic documents

In a method for verifying the instant that a transaction is implemented or that a document is created, signed, sent and/or received, it is provided for a time marker to be inserted into the document in a tamper-proof manner, and for the time marker to correspond to a time stamp taken from a non-adjustable clock. An arrangement for performing the method is also provided.
