The invention concerns an electric drive device, namely a transverse flow motor. The transverse flow motor has a stator and a rotor, whereby the stator includes U-shaped stator blades which form a cylindrical ring, and whereby the rotor has permanent magnets which are arranged at the pole ends of the stator blades and which form cylindrical or annular rotor elements. In accordance with the invention, the U-shaped stator blades of the stator form two cylindrical rings, whereby in each case one of the two rings is arranged at one side of the rotor such that the rotor is laterally surrounded by the two rings.

Electrical driving arrangement

The invention pertains to differential pressure transducers for gas turbine motors, for measuring variable pressure differences within a medium or between different media. The differential pressure transducer is constructed as a linear displacement sensor according to the linear variable displacement transducer (LVDT) principle, and has a ferromagnetic core that can be moved in a translatory manner, a spring element for the set position of the core given nominal differential pressure, a primary coil and two secondary coils arranged in succession axially over the length of the stroke range of the core, and a tubular housing having a delivery connection on both sides of the stroke area of the core.

A regulator or engine regulator having two regulator channels ( &prime;) which each have at least two processor units ( or &prime;, respectively) is developed in that in each case one processor unit (for example &prime;) operates as a calculation unit for each safety-critical function in both regulator channels ( &prime;), in order to determine calculation results from at least some of the input data (E, E&prime;), and in each case one other processor unit (for example &prime;) operates as a monitoring unit in order to compare the calculation results from the calculation unit firstly with its own estimate of the correct results and secondly with corresponding results from the respective other regulator channel ( ). An engine and method for regulating an actuating or propulsion system, or an engine, have corresponding features. The invention improves the operational safety in particular of a two-channel regulator or an engine regulator with little complexity, and, in particular, allows reliable identification of malfunctions in one channel.

A fuel metering system for a turbojet engine includes (1) a pump-supplied feed pipe; (2) a supply pipe to the engine; (3) a recirculation pipe; (4) a main metering valve; (5) a pressure control device for the main metering valve; (6) an emergency device for an unintentional opening of the main metering valve; and (7) an automatic pressure limiting device for the pipe system. Control-related connections of the main metering valve and the emergency device exist to an electronic engine controller. The pressure control device and the emergency device are combined in a recirculation valve and are controlled by the engine controller.
