The disclosure relates to an electric motor comprising a base motor module and a plug module which is electrically and mechanically connected to the base motor module and is designed as an electronics module. The electronics module comprises a power electronics system, a driver electronics system and a control electronics system, and the electronics module and the base motor module each dissipate heat via separated heat paths. The disclosure further relates to an electric motor arrangement and also to a construction kit for electric motors.

Electric motor

An electric motor suitable for an electric camshaft phaser comprises a main motor module and a plug-in module electrically and mechanically connected thereto. The main motor module comprises a housing shell, a stator and a rotor mounted in the housing shell by way of a rolling bearing. The main motor module is inserted into the plug-in module, and electrical connections between the plug module and the main motor module are established by insulation displacement connections, which can be produced by joining the modules in the axial direction.

The invention relates to a compensating coupling comprising a coupling element arranged between a first machine element and a second machine element as a torque-transmitting component. The coupling element has an annular body and on each of the end faces of which a coupling section for torque-transmitting interaction with one of the machine parts is formed, wherein each coupling section has two coupling surfaces parallel to each other. All coupling surfaces of both coupling sections are parallel to each other, and at least one of the coupling sections is designed as a pair of lugs.

Compensating coupling

An electromagnetic actuating device is being proposed for a valve train that can be adjusted on the cam side in an internal combustion engine, including a housing with a top part and a bottom part, whereby an electrically energizable solenoid device is embedded in the top part of the housing and an adjusting pin that is actuated by the solenoid device is mounted in the bottom part of the housing so as to move longitudinally, and also including a plug-in connector that is made of plastic and that runs on the top part of the housing in order to supply electricity to the solenoid device as well as a connecting flange that runs on the housing in order to attach the actuating device to the internal combustion engine. The plug-in connector and the connecting flange are integral parts of the top part of the housing made by encapsulating the solenoid device with plastic.
