A measuring system for measuring signals with multiple measurement probes includes a multi probe measurement device having at least two probe interfaces that each couple the multi probe measurement device with at least one of the measurement probes, a data interface that couples the multi probe measurement device to a measurement data receiver, and a processing unit coupled to the at least two probe interfaces that records measurement values via the at least two probe interfaces from the measurement probes. The processing unit is further coupled to the data interface and provides the recorded measurement values to the measurement data receiver that also includes a data interface. The data interface of the measurement data receiver is coupled to the data interface of the multi probe measurement device.

Multiprobe measurement device and method

The present invention provides to a processing of data samples by an arrangement comprising a signal processing chip for executing predetermined operations and a processor for executing any kind of software code. In particular, it is not only possible that the general purpose processor, which executes the software code can process results from the signal processing chip, but also the signal processing chip can receive the results of the general purpose processor for applying further operations. In this way, the flexibility and efficiency of the processing can be further improved.

Measuring system and method

A measurement device for measuring at least one signal generates a first trigger impulse upon detection of a first trigger condition in at least one signal to be measured. It stores for the at least one signal multiple segments each containing the detected first trigger condition upon generation of the first trigger impulse in an acquisition memory. A second trigger impulse is generated upon detection of a second trigger condition in the multiple segments of the at least one signal stored in the acquisition memory. For the at least one signal the segments containing the detected second trigger condition are displayed upon generation of the second trigger impulse on a display unit.

Multitouch gestures for a measurement system

A measuring device for an oscilloscope provides a decimation unit. The decimation unit provides at least one input, which receives a datastream with a plurality of sampled values from at least one data source. The decimation unit also has at least one output, at which a reduced datastream is output. The reduced datastream is formed from a root-mean-squared value of respectively at least two sampled values calculated by the decimation unit.

Measuring device and a method for the decimation of a datastream

A method for marking a signal edge, which has been removed from at least one decimated binary signal after the decimation of an associated binary signal, within the decimated binary signal, establishes successive signal portions of the respective binary signal, in each case with a number of sampled values corresponding to a decimation factor of the decimation. Method and a device for preventing signal-edge losses

The measuring machine according to the invention has a display device, a processing device, and at least one measurement channel. The processing device measures the measurement signal of the at least one measurement channel. The display device displays the measurement signal of the at least one measurement channel as a chart. A plurality of charts can thereby be displayed at once. The display device additionally displays preview charts. The preview diagrams are scaled representations of the diagrams. The plurality of diagrams can be displayed cascaded and/or horizontally tiled and/or vertically tiled. The multiple plots can be displayed at different, preferably arbitrary positions of the display device.
