A method is provided for moving a movable mold mounting plate of a molding machine, in which the movable mold mounting plate is movable relative to a stationary mold mounting plate and the mold mounting plates are kinematically connected to each other, and in which a drive mechanism for moving the movable mold mounting plate is provided. Molding tool parts arranged on the mold mounting plates are brought into abutment to each other in a closed state, and a temporally changeable tilting movement of the mold mounting plates relative to each other occurs by the movement of the movable mold mounting plate. The movable mold mounting plate is moved by the drive mechanism and/or the stationary mold mounting plate is moved by an injection device in such a way that when reaching a predeterminable distance of the mold mounting plates relative to each other, a parameter representing the tilting movement of the mold mounting plates relative to each other is less than or equal to a presettable value, preferably equal to zero.

Method for moving a movable platen

An injection arrangement for a moulding machine includes a moulding compound reservoir and an injection unit. The moulding compound reservoir is configured to provide a plasticized mass and to push out the plasticized mass through a discharge opening, and a connecting device is coupled to the discharge opening of the moulding compound reservoir and a feed opening of the injection unit, and is configured to direct the plasticized mass from the moulding compound reservoir to the injection unit. Each of the at least two drive units is lubricated by an oil chamber which is oil-tightly sealed off in relation to the surroundings, and each oil chamber holds an oil volume, above which is arranged an air volume. The air volumes of the oil chambers are connected together in air-conducting relationship by a connecting conduit.

An injection unit for a shaping machine includes an injection element suitable for introducing a plasticized material into a mold tool by a linear movement of the injection element. The injection element is coupled in linear motion-transmitting relationship to a bearing element, and at least two linear drives are adapted to exert a force on the injection element by the bearing element. The force can be transmitted by a transmission element from the at least two linear drives to the bearing element and thus to the injection element, and at least one clearance is arranged between the bearing element and the transmission element such that deformations of the bearing element are not transmitted to the transmission element or are transmitted to a reduced degree.

A shaping machine or a handling apparatus for a shaping machine includes at least one measuring device for measuring the spacing of two selected points of the shaping machine or the handling apparatus. Furthermore, the at least one measuring device has at least one piezoresistive micromechanical sensor.
