A medical-endoscopic shank instrument includes a hollow shank (), a distal side housing () in the hollow shank, an electronic picture sensor () and/or a light located in the housing. The housing is linearly movable to move the picture sensor and/or the light from within an inner lumen () of the hollow shank to outside the inner lumen. The housing is displaceable through an opening () formed on a peripheral wall of the hollow shank. An inner-lying outer side (), opposite and away from the opening, is formed on a peripheral wall of the hollow shank and is supported on an elongate carrier () which is guided in the hollow shank. The elongate carrier () is configured elastically resiliently transverse to longitudinal extensions thereof and extends essentially over a whole length of the hollow shank and is fixed in a region of the proximal end/proximally of the hollow shank.

Shank instrument, in particular a medical-endoscopic shank instrument

A medical instrument includes a proximal handle (), for controlling a distal tool, including two grip pieces () pivotable relative to one another, subjected to spring force and coupled in movement via a path guide with a path component (). The path component includes a guide path (), and a guide body () on a guide component (). The guide body engages into the guide path. The components () are arranged on one of the grip pieces and are subjected to a spring force, transversely to a pivoting plane of the grip pieces. One of the components () is pivotably arranged on a grip piece. Functionally independent of the guide body () and guide path (), a latching body () is received by a latching receiver () on the components () for a latching function, blocking pivoting movement of the grip pieces.

Medical instrument

An instrument for positioning operating tubes in endoscopic operations. A distally pointed cannula tube serves as a guiding probe for introduction into a patient's body so that the distal end is disposed closely proximate the operating site, and carries a handle that is removably attached to the cannula tube proximal end. The cannula tube is hollow for receiving therethrough a mandarin. The mandarin and tube handle are removed from the cannula tube once the tube is inserted into the patient's body, thus leaving only the cannula tube extending into the body of the patient to serve as a guiding probe for one or more operating tubes.
