Applicator device

A device for applying a liquid or gel-like product, in particular a cosmetic product, comprising a rotatably supported ball serving as an applicator element, and a storage chamber for the product to be applied on a side of the ball in opposite relationship to an applicator side of the ball for loading the ball on its side in opposite relationship to its applicator side, wherein the storage chamber has a feed opening for the product to be applied. A vent opening is disposed behind the feed opening as viewed from the ball for venting the storage chamber.

An applicator device comprising a storage space for a product to be applied comprising a front portion having a holder for rotatably holding a ball communicating with the storage space through an opening provided between the ball and the holder, wherein at least the front portion comprises plastic material.

An applicator device comprising a casing, a storage compartment for a product to be applied, an application element comprising a ball held rotatably in a ball holder, a sealing element which is displaceable along a predetermined path between a first position with respect to the casing in which it bears sealingly against the ball and a second position with respect to the casing in which it releases the ball for application of the product, and an increased pressure-producing device for producing an increased pressure in the storage compartment, wherein the sealing element is coupled in a predetermined portion of the path to the increased pressure-producing device. The sealing element is independent of the increased pressure-producing device in a first portion of the path which is delimited by the first position.

The invention concerns an applicator device comprising a storage means for storing a product to be applied, and an increased pressure-producing device having an elastic device, wherein the elastic device is designed to press with its elastic return force against a boundary means of the storage means, to produce an increased pressure in the storage means. In accordance with the present invention it is provided that the increased pressure-producing device is controllable to provide a reduction in the pressure in the storage means.
