A vibration damper for damping vibrations of a motor vehicle part including a retaining device attachable to the motor vehicle part, a damping mass, capable of vibrating with respect to the retaining device, and a spring device coupling the damping mass capable of vibrating to the retaining device. The damping mass may have at least one anti-loss device and/or path limiting device that may interact with the retaining device to limit a deflection of the damping mass with respect to the retaining device.

Vibration damper

A shaft bearing for mounting a shaft of a motor vehicle, having an inner sleeve, an outer body which surrounds the inner sleeve thereby forming a gap, and an elastomer body which connects the inner sleeve and the outer body elastically to one another. The inner sleeve may be embedded in the elastomer body and form a receiving opening for pressing in a bearing element. The inner sleeve may have at least one first deformation which is directed radially inwards in such a way that a shear gap is formed between the first deformation and the bearing element. An elastomer bead that may be formed when the bearing element is pressed in may be compressed within the shear gap.

Shaft bearing

A vibration absorber for damping vibrations of motor vehicle components. The vibration absorber comprises an absorber mass including a passage, and an elastomeric spring member inserted in the passage of the absorber mass. The elastomeric spring member comprises an outer sleeve connecting the elastomeric spring member to the absorber mass, and an inner sleeve for attachment to the motor vehicle component to undergo vibration absorption. An elastomer body interconnects the inner sleeve and the outer sleeve. The elastomeric spring member also includes a securing element. The vibration absorber includes stops that are spaced apart in an axial direction and that cooperate with the securing element to secure the absorber mass in the axial direction.

Vibration absorber

A device for dampening torsional vibrations, comprising a centering sleeve () for the reception of a rotatable element and a flywheel mass () is characterized in that, with regard to the objective to be solved, namely the realization of an arrangement having a constructively simple design and a highly dynamic stability, the centering sleeve () and the flywheel mass () are connected to each other. Furthermore, an arrangement comprising the mentioned device and a flexible coupling () is claimed.

Device for dampening torsional vibrations and arrangement

According to the present disclosure, an insert for an airbag housing on a motor vehicle steering wheel is provided that is configured to couple a gas generator thereto for use as a vibration-absorbing mass for damping steering wheel vibrations. The insert includes an annular rubber membrane having an edge that faces the airbag housing and is provided with a surrounding metallic holding sheet for connection to the airbag housing. The insert further includes another edge that is oriented toward the gas generator. The rubber membrane is provided with a receiving element for frictional engagement with the gas generator.
