A device for attaching a rail to a bearing element (tie) (3) and comprising an elastic intermediate plate (34) and on top of this a rigid pressure distribution plate (35) which is arranged between the base (2) of the rail (1) and the tie (3); guide plates (10, 11) are attached to the tie (3) to provide lateral guidance of the base of the rail (2) and clamps (38) act on the base of the rail (2) and clamp the rail (1) to the tie (3). The elastic intermediate plate (34) projecting on both sides beneath the base (2) of the rail (1) extends on each side into a recess (16, 17) formed by the guide plate (10, 11). As a result, the elastic intermediate plate (34) can provide adequate resistance to the horizontal forces so that tilting of the rail is prevented. At the same time, the major forces of the clamps (38) are transmitted via the guide plates (10, 11) directly to the tie (3) so that non-uniform compression of the elastic intermediate plate (34) cannot occur during assembly and thus rail cant errors are avoided.

Anchor for a railway tie embedded in ballast. In order to further simplify the installation of such an anchor, the clamp is constructed in two or more parts. With an anchor construction having a clamp gripping the tie on both sides, the clamp parts are constructed of approximately the same size in order to form clamp halves, the connection is formed as a pivot arrangement and in the region of the connection position a tightening means is provided for producing a tightening force clamping the clamp halves on the tie.

The invention describes a clamp for rails that is produced from resilient steel bar with multiple bends. The first section (11) of the rail clamp (9, 10) is essentially horizontally arranged, while the last section (14) rests on the rail flange (5). The second section (12) curves upwards in the vertical plane that passes through the first section (11). The remaining sections of the clamp lie all on the side of the first section that faces the rail. The fastening arrangement comprises an anchoring part (20) where the supporting surface (23) for a supporting section of the clamp (9, 10) is located essentially vertically above the locating hole (24) of the clamp (9, 10). That produces a relatively short clamp requiring a minimum of material.

Clamp and fastening arrangement for rails

The invention relates to a rail securing arrangement, which has the following features. It comprises metal plates, each of which lies with its flat lower surface on the sleeper, and on whose upper surface two ribs are formed which extend in the longitudinal direction of the rail, and between which the foot of the sleeper lies on a bearing surface. On both sides of the rail in the region of the respective ribs, each plate has moreover at least one through-hole, with which a respective through-hole in the sleeper is aligned. Corresponding screws are each introduced with their lower ends into the respective through-holes of the plate and engage with a hook-like bend beneath the lower surface of the plate. Each screw is provided at its upper end with a thread onto which a respective nut is screwed. Furthermore, the securing arrangement comprises plate-like securing elements which are each bent to form a double-armed angle member. The first arm of each securing element engages, together with the associated screw in the corresponding through-hole in the plate, whereby the screw is fixed in this through-hole in such manner that the hook-like bend of the screw engages securely beneath the lower surface of the plate. The second arm of each securing element extends perpendicularly away from the rail and lies at least partially on the upper surface of the plate. Finally, clips are provided, which each have a respective screw. Each clip consists of a round-sectioned steel rod and possesses a form which is symmetrical to a vertical plane perpendicular to the rail. Each clip surrounds the associated screw with a central part which lies beneath the nut. A part of the clip facing the rail lies on the rail foot, while an outer part of the clip facing away from the rail presses from above on the upper surface of the plate.

Arrangement for securing railway rails onto sleepers

An arrangement for fastening rails to sleepers includes guide plates (10) disposed to the sides of each rail and elastic clips (20), which may be pressed onto the respective guide plate (10) and onto the foot of the rail by means of bolts (30) anchored in the sleepers, the guide plates (10) having on their upper side in the installed position a rib (13) extending parallel to the rail, on which a part (21) of the elastic clip may be brought to seat as a boundary for the stress path. In order that the guide plates (10), when made also from plastics, may safely carry without damage the forces exercised by the clips (20), even when there has been an excessive torque on the bolts (30), each rib (13) of the guide plate (10) has a reinforcement (14) in the seating region of the clip (20).
