A copolymer includes a main hydrocarbon chain and side groups including carboxylic groups and polyoxyalkylate groups. The copolymer further includes gem-bisphosphonate groups. The copolymer can be included in an admixture for suspensions of mineral particles and in a composition of mineral particles. The copolymer can also be used for fluidifying and maintaining fluid, suspensions of mineral particles and for reducing the sensitivity of hydraulic compositions to clays and alkaline sulfates.

Block copolymers that can be used as plasticisers

A copolymer includes a main hydrocarbon chain and side groups including carboxylic groups and polyoxyalkylate groups. The copolymer further includes gem-bisphosphonate groups. A composition, such as n admixture for suspensions of mineral particles, includes the copolymer. The copolymer can be used for fluidifying suspensions of mineral particles and maintaining the fluidity of such suspensions. The copolymer can also be used for reducing the sensitivity of hydraulic compositions to clays and alkaline sulfates.

Alpha/alpha-prime/alkoxylated glycerol linear carbonic esters have formula (VI): where p is an integer higher than 1, x is an integer equaling 0 or 1 with x not always being zero, and Mis hydrogen (H). Qcan be a hydrocarbon aliphatic group, an amino hydrocarbon group or an oxygenated amino hydrocarbon group. Gcan be an &#x3b1;/&#x3b1;'-alkoxylated propyl group of general formula (II&#x2032;): where R, Rand Rare variously hydrogen (H), an alkyl or an amino-alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, or general formula (VII): where R7 is a H or a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, and m is an integer between 0 and 10 inclusive, and X is &#x2014;O&#x2014; or &#x2014;NH&#x2014;.

Alpha/alpha-prime-alkoxylated glycerol linear carbonic esters

A method for the synthesis of &#x3b1;/&#x3b1;'-alcoxylated glycerol linear carbonic esters, wherein the following are brought into contact at a reaction temperature lower than 220&#xb0; C.: a quantity of at least one precursor selected from the group consisting of &#x3b1;/&#x3b1;&#x2032;-alcoxylated glycerol cyclo-carbonates; a quantity of at least one catalyst selected from the group consisting of metal oxides, Lewis acids, organometallic catalysts and mineral bases; and a quantity of at least one organic primer. A composition containing at least one novel &#x3b1;/&#x3b1;&#x2032;-alkoxylated glycerol linear carbonic ester.

Method for the synthesis of alpha/alpha-prime-alcoxylated glycerol linear carbonic esters

The invention relates to a copolymer comprising a main hydrocarbon chain and side groups including carboxylic groups, polyoxyalkylate groups, and gem acetophosphonate groups, an adjuvant for suspensions of mineral particles comprising said copolymer and a method for preparing said copolymer. Finally it also relates to the use of said copolymer for fluidifying and maintaining fluidity of suspensions of mineral particles and for reducing the sensitivity of hydraulic binders to clays and alkali metal sulfates. Finally it relates to a composition of mineral particles comprising this copolymer.

Copolymers having gem-acetophone groups
